Chapter 25: busted

of course they are mates!

I look at Jack who seems to be in a trance of some kind. he moves closer to us and Clara staring at him she try to move but she bump into me and almost fall I catch her and then look at Jack.

I think he is awake now. no more trance. why?

Because the next words out of his mouth after finally noticing me were "oh sh*t"

"what?" Clara looked shocked and hurt at the same time. she looked confused, probably thinking what Jack said was for her.

Jack looked back at Clara realizing what he just said. what was the 2nd word coming out of his mouth after 'mate'

I wanted to laugh! he looked horrified. that look was priceless! If it wasn't for the fact the princesse is here I sure would take a picture of him.

"excuse me?" Clara glared at him.

actually, almost everyone was glaring at him. his parents, the princesse and so on. even my 7 year old brother.

his father nudged him to say something.

"I didn't mean that" he said in a weak voice. just little above whisper

"oh, can you then elaborate on what you mean?" that was the princesse. she looked like she wanted to kill him. I guess she and Clara are good friends.

"it was because of me" when Jack was saying 'ahh' and 'umm' I figured I would help him. I guess he think I'm hurt?

the weird thing I'm not. I actually feel envy and jealousy. not because he was taken. but because now he has a mate and I'm going to lose mine. his might of course was the white wolf to his black wolf. yah black wolves are as rare as white ones. and has affinities too. There affinities are different, as the bend water, fire, air, earth and electricity. Jack affinity is electricity. so a rare white wolf and a rare black wolf. why not?

I might had a crush on Jack but it was not for the black wolf. I wanted a mate. and I didn't want him strong and powerful with the biggest pack. I just wanted someone that would help our pack. a good Alpha with a good bloodline.

I was ranting with myself for too long. as I see all eyes on me waiting for my elaboration. "we were dating-ish" i shrug.

"oh" princesse Alice finally says.

and now it awkward. he should have played with what happening! now everyone is looking at me like I was the most wronged person on earth!

"Jack, Clara. if you want I could see you to a room to... talk" mom finally broke the awkward silence.

Jack and Clara shifted in there places and they wold look at each other and then me. I couldn't take it I almost growled saying "come on. I'll take you guys"

and then Liam thought humiliating me even more was a good thing "your not going to take them to a corner and murder them are you?"

thankfully mom laughed taking the awkwardness away. and then I laugh, all this is so awkward it is laughable. and then everyone start laughing.

I whip the tear away from my cheeks that came from laughing too hard. "come on" I tell the new love birds

the moment we get out of the room i elbowed Jack.

"ouch!" he said grabbing the side of his stomach.

Clara glared at me probably her wolf wanting to help there mate but she soften when I say "that for making everything awkwardly!"

"it wasn't my fault! I didn't anticipate any of that happening!"

"you mean meeting your mate hanging out with your girlfriend?" Clara playfully asked. probably seeing that everything is not really bothering me.

"umm yah" Jack said

then I added "to be fair today was our first date. so i guess he isn't really my boyfriend. anyway I am really cool with this. dating you was going to be fun but I know in the end you are going to find your mate."

we go to a room near a corner and I continue "here talk all you want. and let us hang out later. see yah guys" they smile and enter the room. and I leave not wanting to over hear any smooching.

"can I go to my room?" I mind link mom. yes I'm not as sad as I thought I would be but I'm not going there to sit awkwardly with people awkwardly look at me!

"sure cupcakes" mom answer

I go to my room and I suddenly feel tired. I decided to take a hot shower and then go to sleep.

today Adrian is getting out of prison. in the past few days yin and yang would stay in one of the rooms around sometimes go out and come late at night.

since Clara is busy that way the princesse would take me with her everywhere. she would spend hours on tracking and it was awesome seeing it the first time. but to do her tracking trying to pick everything up takes time. and it is boring!

my life was basically seeing the princesse track or my university. I stopped bringing Adrian his meals. that how busy I was.

why couldn't that Clara take her hands of Jack and go with her princesse!

I know his hot but she should go with her princesse!

my wolf said and as usual I was about to say how wrong she is.

with his blue perfect eyes that glaze day and night. his eyes bare so much in them I could gaze at them for days. and his black hair with his silky wavy curls. but the most noticeable thing is of course his jawline. it is to die for.

I get out of my fantasies and look at my bedroom door. I just got in after following the princesse all day.

I take a deep breath prepared to go out again. then I notice that the sent outside is not the princesse sent. it was Violet!.

I hop of bed happy to be able to talk to her as we barely see each other and I notice another sent. I remember the sent I just can't remember the face of the sent.

hopping this is not a business call I open the door. the moment it is opend to figures storm in. I look to see Violet and umm Alex was her name?

"will, come on in" I say sarcastically

"we need to talk" Ve looked serious. hope everything is okay

"what is it?"

"you need to go on a date with your mate" Ve continue in a serious tone.

my mate? that day I didn't get to tell Ve anything and I'm sure I didn't have time to tell her anything after that day.

"shouldn't I have to meet him first" I play the nice oblivious girl card.

"cut the cr*p woman! we know you and Adrian are mates!" my eyes winded at what Alex said. I hope that's her name . not the point. what is she talking about. how?

"we overheard you guys the day princesse Alice came" Ve explained probably seeing the look on my face

"oh" was the only word that I could say.
