Ice-cream parlour

New discovery

Thursday 3rd of June 2021:

Katie has waited two days she couldn't bare any longer she had to ask her dad if she could just lick like a bit of ice cream she was going so crazy she made a cinqain poem about it :

Ice cream
Sweet, delectable
Licking, biting, savouring
My personal favourite dessert
Dessert

She has never wrote a poem before. She turned her head vigorously when the door of her room opened it was her dad he said "Katie get dressed we're going to the ice cream parlour Katie replied excitedly "ok dad! She felt like the happiest person on earth. She wore her lucky Minnie Mouse shirt with black jeans, she ran downstairs, put on her boots and grabbed her glittery pink jacket .

She opened the door got in the car, zipping up her seatbelt. But something rare happened out of the door came her mom (Diana) and her little sister ( daisy ) they usually never come . Soon Mark and Lilly came and the car moved slowly. As her dad drove she realised that this was not the way to the usual ice cream parlour they go to. But since her dad was driving she couldn't ask him, she said in her mind "maybe it's just a shortcut.

They finally arrive at a big cafe made just for ice cream. They go inside the black modern door and just like the other ice cream parlour the door made a ding! Sound . They got a seat and ordered:

Katie: (chocolate ice cream) of course
Lily:    ( pineapple )
Mark: ( birthday cake )
Diana : ( kiwi )
Daisy: ( raspberry )

As they finished up the ice cream all they wanted to do was sleep so they went home and they went to sleep and Katie woke up at 8:20 she only had 10 min to get ready . She came late so she had to get a late pass card. All she thought about was that delicious, delectable, creamy,chocolate ice cream. When she got back Mark told her to get ready because they were going to the ice cream parlour, Katie was surprised, she said "we just went last night!

"I know Mark replied, "but wasn't it so good! "Yeah I guess Katie said. She didn't know why her dad was acting like that usually he was the healthy one in the family. She decided to put her negative thoughts aside and get ready to go to the ice  cream parlour. The orders were the same as last night. And as she got home all she wanted to do was sleep. She woke up at: 8:24 she said "wow I didn't know I would wake that late I only have 6 minutes I've gotta stop going to that ice cream parlour. But this time Diana came in the room and said "come on honey we're going to the ice cream parlour and make sure you wear something fancier than that pink glittery jacket!

"I got you a dress! Diana said. As she showed Katie what it looked like : it was a fancy red and black dress and she had to wear it! She had no choice she put it on and looked in the mirror she sighed "that's it I'm going to explore this ice cream parlour something's up!
