After a long bus ride to Luna's house they arrived and rushed up running quickly to Luna's room they called the number. After quite a while a voice finally said "hello this is Roxy how may I help you? Luna and Katie paused for a moment they didn't think this part out. "Umm hello said Katie in a higher voice. "Hello I am your new business partner. "Business partner? Replied Roxy. "Yes of course I applied for the cafe job umm that fancy one Katie said.

"Oh sorry you have to call my husband Chris I'm not in charge of this would you like me to ask him for you? Roxy asked. "Oh no I can do it myself. Katie said. "Ok your choice looking forward to seeing you there bye. "Bye Katie said sadly. "Well that went bad. Luna said. What are we going to do now? She really thinks we want to apply for this job.

"Ok I say we call her again maybe tomorrow or whenever we get a chance Luna said. That might be the best option this time let's figure out what we are actually gonna say before the call Katie said. The next day it went like this they caught the bus went to Luna's and ran upstairs to her room they called the number. And a voice answered "hello this is Roxy how may I help you? Luna began this time "hello umm what is the name of the cafe you work at?

"May I ask why you need to know that? "Well actually I am a business partner and friend to Chris. "What has that got to do with me? "Well actually I travelled and my phone got lost and me and Chris were going to do a big business deal so I asked one of his friends and he said that he didn't have his number but he had yours so he told me to get his number off of you but I need to know where you work so I can make sure.

"Ok seems fair and true umm I work at Chris's ice cream that fancy one on mount avenue. "Beautiful umm can I please have his number? "If you didn't know he is my partner and husband so please come to my house before you have his number for all safety reasons alright? "Yes of course what's your address? "Preacon avenue unit 24/7

"Oh no Katie what do we do Luna panicked she'll just see that we are normal teenagers!
"Calm down i have an idea. "My mom bought me a beautiful red and black dress so fancy I could wear that with makeup and look like and adult. "But what if she asks why you are so short. "I'll just tell her that I have a little disease where you are short. "Perfect oh you are so smart. "I know Luna I know. The next day Katie took the bus to preacon avenue. She knocked on unit 24/7 and waited till the door opened.

After what seemed like forever a pretty brown haired girl came out she had a white shirt on with a purple neat jacket on and black jeans with black flats on. She shook hands with Katie and asked her to come inside. She began "well I just wanted to ask you a few questions before you can take my husbands number. "How long have you known Chris for? Katie replied confidently umm about 5 years. "Hmm that's strange that was before me and Chris even got married. "Okay here's the next question in which country did you lose your phone? "France of course Katie replied.

"And last thing to confirm that my husband knows you I will call him and ask if he knows you! "That all sounds to good to hear but sweetie could I use the restroom? "Oh sure right down the left. Katie got in rushing and quickly called Luna. "Luna, Luna, Katie panicked she just said she had to call Chris to make sure that he knows me. "What will I do? "Umm just take a leap of faith if he says he doesn't know you you're gonna have to explain everything come on Katie you can do it.

Katie ended the call and walked into the living room "umm sure ready you can call him. "That's no problem I already called him he said he didn't know your name so what's your name so I can tell him? "Oh sorry forget to tell you just seemed so busy with this stuff umm my name is Mackenzie. "Beautiful let me call him "Chris umm she says her name is Mackenzie. "Ha said Chris I don't really remember anyone called Mackenzie but give her my number anyway I would like to meet this strange woman. "Tell her that we should meet at Jerry's homemade ice cream at 7:00 pm looking forward to meeting her bye darling. "Bye Roxy said.

"Okay you got lucky this time but if something happens I will make sure he doesn't stay in touch with you hope you aren't going to do any mischief have a good day young lady.
"Bye have a good day said Katie enthusiastically. Her happiness didn't stay for long her dad told her that they were going to basket robin since they hadn't went in a month after all he did keep his word that he wouldn't go everyday. But the bad thing was that they were going at 7:00 pm. Katie rushed to her dad and said "dad I can't be there for most of the time can you pick me up at Jerry's homemade ice cream me and Luna are going there just because we realised we hadn't Been there in a long time.

"Ok fine but you are only allowed to stay there until 7:30 take some cash from my wallet to have some ice cream. "Thanks you're the best dad ever! Katie said happily.
