"M'lady, wait!" Chat called out, grabbing her hand to prevent her from leaving his side. 

She glanced back at her partner with curious eyes, wondering why he had stopped her. "Chat, I'm going to transform back soon."

Her voice was slightly panicked and for a moment Chat contemplated if this was a smart thing to do. But he had been pondering for hours in bed, thinking of a way to get closer with his Lady. To get to know her. Not just to find out her identity, but also to hear her hopes and dreams. He wanted to know everything about her.

He had moved on from Kagami. If he was fully honest with himself, he never liked her that way from the start. He just wanted to move on and he sort of used her to do it, even though she had liked him. 

"I know... Maybe we can meet at the Eiffel Tower in 5 minutes? I really need to talk to you about something." Chat Noir admitted and he saw a curious expression form on her face. 

"Okay, we can do that... Just not too long, otherwise, my parents will get worried." She warned, holding up her finger to make her point clear. 

"Of course, I would never want you to get in trouble," he spoke, nervously running his hand through his golden locks. "I just can't wait any longer, but if you can't do it now, I'll wait."

Ladybug shook her head dismissively. "No, it's fine, don't worry." Her earrings beeped once again and she knew she had only two minutes left. "I'll see you in 5 minutes."

Chat's eyes kept following her as she swung away, mesmerized by her beauty and elegance. He cursed under his breath when he heard his own miraculous bleep and leaped away to find a place to hide. 

After feeding Plagg his stinky cheese, he transformed once again into his alter ego and ignored his kwami's complaints. When he was near the building they were meeting upon, he could already see a red dot in the distance, and a smile formed upon his lips.

He greeted her with a kiss on the hand and Ladybug just rolled her eyes like she usually did, quickly pulling her hand away and sitting down at the railing. 

Chat joined her and glanced at her, letting out a sigh before speaking. "I have something to ask you..." His voice trailed off because of his nerves and he kept staring at her bluebell eyes. 

She smiled softly at him and the black cat calmed down slightly. "You don't have to be scared, Kitty. I don't bite. You can ask me anything, I just can't promise you that I'll do what you ask or answer your question."

Chat Noir looked back at the buzzing city again. The sun was beginning to set and he looked at the beautiful colors. He was actually supposed to be playing piano at the moment and he was glad that that was the case and he didn't have a photoshoot or school. No one checked on him while he was doing playing the instrument his father loved and now he had an opportunity to talk to Ladybug. 

"It's actually more of a proposition..." He started, finally looking back at her again. She was watching him intently and it made him nervous. "You know that I want to know your identity and I know you can't tell me..."

She nodded, letting him know she still can't. "But," Chat continued, "you're a guardian now. What would happen if you died? Who would take care of the miracle box? No one knows who you are and what would happen then?"

Ladybug let out a sigh. "My kwami knows who you are and she could go to you and handle everything. Besides, I already told someone else my identity and she knows a lot about the miraculous. She could take over my place."

Chat gaped at her. "You told someone?! That's so unfair! Why do I have to keep it a secret and you can tell someone!"

"It wasn't good for my mental health to not tell anyone." She admitted, looking away for a moment. "You know how hard it is to lie to everyone the whole time and I couldn't handle it anymore. Some of my friends had almost found the miracle box in my room and I freaked out."
