Marinette let out a loud yawn as she stretched in bed, slowly waking up after hitting her alarm to shut it up.

She had asked Tikki the day before if she agreed with the 20 questions. She had hesitated, mainly because of the events of Chat Blanc, but reluctantly agreed in the end.

After all, Chat Blanc mainly happened because Marinette didn't know that Adrien was Chat. If they both found out each other's identities it would be less dangerous. Of course, there was still a risk, but Tikki knew that they needed each other.

It was exhausting to be a superhero, to say the least. Luckily, Marinette had Alya now, but Adrien still had no one. It would help him if he had someone to talk to, especially with everything going on in his life.

Marinette had been delighted when she had Tikki's permission. She loved Chat with every bit of her heart, even if she didn't want to admit that she loved him a little bit more than just a friend.

After getting ready for school, she entered the classroom on time for once. She had been so content that night, over the moon because of the 20 questions, that she fell asleep without a problem.

Everyone was surprised, to say the least. Their mouths were hanging open widely as they gawked at Marinette, who was making her way to sit down next to Alya.

Her best friend pointed towards her phone to let her know she had to look at her texts and Marinette fished her phone out of her bag.

You have to tell me everything. I saw your partner asking you something after the ab, she texted, and Marinette luckily knew that she meant akuma battle with ab.

Alya always made sure to be discrete when they weren't in Marinette's room. She was always cautious if anyone would hear their conversation and if someone would grab their phone and read the messages.

Marinette was glad that she took everything so seriously because it was definitely necessary. She couldn't have her identity revealed to the world, after all.

Her fingers moved over her phone screen as she typed a response. I can't wait. I have a lot to tell you.

She saw Alya grinning at her when she looked up at her again and the ombre held her thumbs up, letting her know she couldn't wait either.

Time ticked by very slowly, too slowly in Marinette's opinion after she had texted Alya. She couldn't wait to tell her everything, although she had to keep her mouth shut about what Chat had answered her.

When the bell rang to tell them that their lunch break had begun, the girls quickly packed their bags to head towards the bakery, rushing to get there as quickly as possible. Marinette even forgot to say bye to Adrien and she never did.

Chat Noir filled her mind more often than she liked to admit, mostly because she now knew that a relationship with Adrien would be impossible. It didn't work out with Luka because she had to lie the whole time, so how could it work out with Adrien? Or he had to miraculously be her partner in crime, Chat Noir, himself.

10 minutes later they took a seat on Marinette's bed and Alya immediately started bombarding her with questions and the kwami's came to join the conversation. Obviously, they had heard about the 20 questions already, but Marinette hadn't told them all the details yet.

"Calm down, Alys," she laughed at her best friend rambling. "I'll grab something downstairs to eat and then I will tell you everything." She promised.
