Marinette turned around as Cat's words. She followed his gaze, it eventually landing on an elder man. He was wearing something that looked like a typical suit worn in the 20th century, with a gramophone (the one with a horn) on his back.

She wasn't even able to fully process that of course now an akuma attack happened when the doors of the hall flew open. The man flew inside, laughing rather oddly, almost cackling.

'I am Flitzherbert sound eater the first! You all disturbed my peaceful evening with your noises, so now I will make sure you all will shut up!' the man said, speaking with an odd German accent. Marinette didn't know why Hawkmoth hadn't decided to akumatize someone with a German accent earlier, as it fitted so well in the whole evil villain cliché. Maybe he had only just realised it.

Oh well, Marinette didn't have a lot more time to think, as the surprised and scared screams of the people close to the doors quickly died down with a turn of the gramophone. It was almost as if the gramophone collected all the nearby sounds, which was rather fitting for the name of course.

'Milady, I think we should get going. How much I trust you, I don't think we'll be able to defeat this Flitzherbert without the help of our charming Kwami's. Oh do please tell you brought yours with you?' she heard Cat Noir say, as he tugged her arm.

It was this that brought her out of her deep thoughts. She just simply nodded. 'Oh yes, of course I did. You know I'm the responsible one of us two,' Marinette said, a slight grin on her face. 'Follow me, I know where we can transform.'

With that Marinette took the lead, grabbing Cat's hand as she dragged him through the crowd that slowly started to become awfully silent. She skipped the first bathroom they passed, though entered the second one.

'I do hope you don't mind having to transform with me here, which shouldn't be a problem you know but then again you never know what other might think and I'm rambling again aren't I?' Marinette said, giving Cat Noir a slight smile.

A chuckle followed form her partner.

'Don't worry, it's all more than fine. But I'm impressed. I didn't think I'd ever hear my very own lady ramble on like that and even though I like it a lot I do think mister cliché won't defeat itself.'

'Yeah, yeah you're right,' she said, freeing her Kwami from her purse as her partners got freed from the inside of Cat's suit too.

'Well Tikki, spots on!'

'Plagg, claws out!'

Red and green light filled the small room as both of them transformed, their superhero suits forming around them. Marinette had to admit that it felt really odd going from a loose dress do a tighter suit, but it was the good kind of odd. A second later she looked at her partner again, his tuxedo now having made place for his black leather suit.

'Well Chaton, are you ready?'

'Always when I'm with my very own lady'

Marinette rolled her eyes, maybe even more out of use than out of annoyance. She ran out of the bathroom, Cat Noir right behind her. It didn't take long before they found the old man who clearly hated noises.

She pulled her partner back when he wanted to continue, keeping him against the wall beside her as she peeked around the corner, trying to come up with a plan before they would just throw themselves in fight.

'Not yet,' she whispered, turning her face to Cat. 'We can't risk losing our voices yet. We need them to communicate okay?'

Cat nodded. 'Fully understood. So, what's the genius plan this time?'

'Well, we have to be careful with what we say. It seems like he can only take voices and sounds if we're speaking, so we need to do that as less as possible. So no puns,' Marinette said sternly.

'I will try my ultimate best. Any idea where the akuma might be? I myself go for his glasses.'

She had to think about it. 'It might actually be there, so we'll have to see,'

'Wait,' Cat Noir said, having to process that for a moment. 'I just actually guessed it right? Well that is fun.'

Marinette rolled her eyes, though there was a grin on her face. 'Well, let's go Kitty.'

They both made their way around the corner now facing the back of Flitzherbert. Marinette gave her partner a sign that he should go to the front, trying to distract their enemy with the least amount of sound possible while she tried to find a way to defeat him.

Let the fight begin...
