Adrien watched Ladybug move alongside the wall, trying not to catch Fritzherbert his attention, as he did exactly what she was trying to avoid.

He ran to the front, now facing the sound eater.

'Give me your miraculous!' the man said, quite loud for someone who's power was to silence the world if you asked Adrien.

'Yeah. So. That's. not. Going. To. Happen,' Adrien said, silencing after each words as a beam of whatever that sound sucking thing was got fired at him. He only got hit once, which lead to him being absolutely silent while he walked.

He kept glancing at his lady, who was still moving behind Fritzherbert. He didn't know what she was doing, knowing her something smart, but she really had to hurry up because he wasn't sure how long he could stay a distraction. Looking at her she did apparently already summon her luckycharm incredibly silently, so that was something.

It was odd, not being able to really communicate verbally while fighting. It was a whole new level of trusting each other, moving as if they were one and of course communicating without words.

As if ladybug could sense that he was starting to run out of time, she yelled: 'Hey! Stereotype villain!'

Now Adrien was just full on confused.

Not too long ago she had told him to be quiet, and now she was shouting at him like she couldn't lose her voice. He loved her, but sometimes he really couldn't follow her.

'Bugaboo, shouldn't you be...' he directly shut up himself, as she shorty shook her head. Well, there the fully trusting her came again.

'I, am not a stereotype villain!' Fritzherbert the sound eater said, clearly fed up. 'I am very much my own creation!'

'Creation of Hawkmoth you mean,' ladybug said, taunting the poor man.

As his attention was now fully on her, he didn't notice she rolled a red with black polka dots cork to Adrien, who understood what had to be done.

Just when the sound eater wanted fire an other beam of silencer things, Adrien jumped on the gramophone on the back of the man. He placed the curk in the opening, stopping the beam from leaving the gramophone and so hitting his partner.

'No!' the man said, trying to pull the curk out but his arms were too short.

Adrien landed again beside Ladybug, half leaning on her shoulder.

'So, we're going for his glasses?' he asked

'We most certainly will, Chatton. Going for the gramophone is too obvious. Besides, why would that get akumatized,' she answered.

'Well maybe he sees it as his baby you know, very possible too.'

'And why what would you know about that?' she asked, her mask going slightly up, implying she raised her eyebrows.

'Oh well, I don't know. Maybe because I have a very needed Kwami?'

'Fair enough. But the honour is yours, Kitty cat. I'll tie his hands together and then you can cataclysm his glasses.'

'Sounds like a genius plan, like always.'

Ladybug just shook her head at that, though a grin was visible on her face. See! She did like his jokes and compliments. She actually liked them. If Adrien didn't have glasses to cataclysm he might have said something about it, or had taken the time to take it all in but he didn't have that time.

When Ladybug had tied the hands of Fritzherbert the sound eater, Adrien yelled; 'cataclysm!' as he jumped up to get the glasses.

They turned into dust in his hands, a black akuma flying out of it. He had actually been right too! Well this was just all too good to be true. It almost couldn't get better, except maybe for his lady to finally agree to a reveal, though he didn't dare to get exited about that.

Ladybug catched the akuma and purified it, and after having done her routine for undoing all the damage the now old man sitting on the ground had done, she walked over to Adrien.

'Pound it,' they said in unison, while bumping their fists together.

'And now leave before Alya fully compresences we're here and wants an interview. I love that girl and the love she has for us, but I really don't feel like an interview now,' she said, taking his wrist as she pulled him behind her again.

'Not even after you had to be silent for so long? To talk about how incredibly charming your partner is and guessed the akumatized object correctly?'

'Maybe if I didn't have a fun evening to enjoy,' she said, looking back at him with a smile.

Adrien really didn't dare to believe this was all happening on the same evening, though you didn't hear him complain.

She took him back to the bathroom they had transformed in the first time, and locked the door behind them.

'Time to blend in again, huh?' Adrien asked with a grin, leaning against the wall.

'Time to blend in again,' Ladybug answered.

And with that they both said their sentences again, transforming them back to their civilian masked selves.

Or well, supposed to be masked selves.

Adrien knew his sewing skills were far from acceptable with a fashion designer as father, but that it was so disappointing his mask ribbon had gotten lose wasn't something he had expected.

Nor having it seeing happen by his partner.

He quickly putted his hands before his eyes, as he didn't want to lose her trust, but that was just a few seconds too late as now he had seen the contouring of a face he had seen for quite some years now.
