Gabriella.

It was nighttime. The moon was on full display and the stars were twinkling all over the sky. I had no idea where we were and I had no idea where we were going, but for some reason, I knew we were almost there. Jason and I hadn't spoken since he gave me the choice to leave or not and as you can see, I decided on the latter. I would've been an idiot to walk the roads of nowhere and, like he said, I most likely would've been dead by now.

I made the decision to go on the run with him.

"We're here. Get out." Jason said as he unlocked the doors. I did as I was told, closing the door behind me.

We were on a shipping dock, a huge boat wavering in the dark ocean. The wind was blowing so heavily it made whooshing noises. A group of men were unloading a truck, and others were transporting boxes onto the huge boat. If I didn't know any better, I would assume they're just loading up regular Canadian merchandise to get sold around the world...but I did know better and I knew that anyone involved with Jason McCann was involved in illegal activities. They're most likely transporting drugs.

"Mario." Jason greeted as we walked up to the group of guys. They all stopped unloading the truck, hands instinctively going towards their waistband for their guns.

All except for one.

Who I'm presuming to be 'Mario', stopped what he was doing, and looked back towards Jason. He sat the box that was in his hand down before slowly walking towards us, using the cloth in his front pocket to clean his dirty hands. Once he stood directly in front of Jason, he stared at him, not saying a word. Instead, he put his hand up and after a few seconds of silence and no movement, Jason grabbed it and they pulled each other into a brotherly hug.

"How have you been mate?" Mario asked, a wide smile made its way onto his face as they pulled away from each other.

"I've been better. Just need to get out of here." Jason answered, nodding towards the huge boat. Mario chuckled.

"I should've known you needed a favor. You and your brother never stop by just to say 'hi', there's always a catch." He said, the smile and humorous aura suddenly vanishing from the atmosphere. Mario glared at Jason and Jason did the same to him. I could basically feel the dominance radiating off both men. To be honest, it was a little intimidating. Suddenly, the wind started to pick up and I couldn't help, but to wrap my arms around myself. That sudden movement, instantly caused Mario to turn his attention towards me.

"And who is this pretty little thing?" He asked, reaching out to touch me, but Jason was fast and caught him by the wrist.

"None of your business." He seethed, harshly throwing his hand away from me. I took a step back. "Now are you going to let us on the boat, or what?"

~~~
"It's freezing." I commented, wrapping my arms around my frame. Jason didn't speak, but the constant chattering of his teeth led me to believe that he was feeling the same way I was. Cold.
"No shit Sherlock." He said with a roll of his eyes, crossing his arms and trying to create as much warmth as possible. I rolled my eyes in return, pulling my knees to my body and wrapping my arms around them.
As you can tell, Mario ended up letting us onto his shipping boat. Sadly, there was no room for us up top, so we were forced to sit on the cold, wet ground in a room that was basically the size of a shoe box. They had a few boxes of crack cocaine stacked near the walls which made the room look even smaller. Since it was so small, Jason and I were forced to sit directly in front of each other. The tips of our shoes, barely touching one another.
