Hopper's Pov:

It's Luna's birthday today, my dear and loving daughter's birthday. She's 8 years old today, wow, and she's insanely smart for her age. I make her favorite breakfast, Eggo Extravaganza. "Hey my precious, it's your birthday" I say as she groans "I got your favorite" I sing and she immediately opens her eyes and shoots up in her bed. "OMG OMG EGGO EXTRAVAGANZA" She says "Oh and hi Dad" She says stuffing an eggo in her mouth as I chuckle. "Now come on we're going to your friend's house uh the Wheezers, Wheemers..." I say forgetting their names. "The Wheeler's, Dad. You're becoming more of an old man now" She says "How dare you call me old. Uh oh SURPRISE ATTACK!" I say as I tickle her. "Ahhh no no dad that tickles" Luna says while laughing her head off.

RING RING RING! I shoot up on the couch falling off. "Shit" I say trying to get up off the floor. I take my shower and brush my teeth. Putting my chief uniform on as I button up my shirt heading to the kitchen. I grab myself something to eat. An apple. Whatever do I care of what I eat. I see the calendar and realize what day it is. Luna's birthday...and death day... She's supposed to be 12 today. I try and gather whatsoever courage I have left and immediately head to the police station.

Will's Pov:

"Something is coming...something hungry for blood" Mike says "What if it's the demogorgon? Oh we're screwed if it's the demogorgon" Dustin says "It's not the demogorgon!" Lucas argues "An army of troglodytes enter the chamber" Mike says "Troglodytes" "See what have I told ya" Lucas says making all of us laugh. "Wait, do you hear that...boom...boom...BOOM! IT'S THE DEMOGORGON" Mike says as we all groan "Aw man we're in deep shit!" Dustin says. "Will your action" Mike says "Fireball him" Lucas says "I- uh I don't know you have to roll a 13 or higher!" I say "Too risky, cast a protection spell" Dustin says "Don't be a pussy, FIREBALL HIM!" Lucas says as him and Dustin argue. "The demogorgon is tired of your human bickering as he takes a step towards you BOOM!" Mike says with Dustin and Lucas arguing and telling me what I should do "And FIREBALL" I say accidentally hitting the table causing the dice to roll of the table. "Shit what was it" "Where is it" "Mike! Mike!" Mrs. Wheeler calls for Mike as we all search for the dice "Was that a seven" I say to Lucas "If Mike didn't see it then it wasn't" Lucas says as I look over to the empty chair, Luna's chair. I let out a sad sigh and go upstairs to leave.

Mrs. Wheeler said goodnight to all of us as Mike walks us to the garage as Dustin, Lucas, and I grab our bikes. "It was a seven" I say to Mike "What?" "The dice it was a seven. The demogorgon got me" I say to Mike "Bye Mike" I say but I stop "It's her birthday you remember...Luna's" I say to Mike "Yeah, I remember...sadly her death was on the same day" Mike says muttering the last sentence so I didn't hear but I heard it. "I know you miss her, we all do." Mike says making me look down "And we've all known of your close relationship with her...you liked her didn't you" Mike says causing my face to go red. "I-I don't know what you're talking about" I say leaving but turn back around "Night Mike...and I didn't like Luna...I loved her" I say leaving with Dustin.

"OOH YOU LOVED LUNA! WILL LOVED LUNA" Dustin says "yea yea be quiet dustin" I say a little annoyed "OOOOOOOH WILL HAD A CRUSH WHO HE LOVED OOOOH" Lucas says "Kiss your mom night for me Lucas" Dustin says to Lucas "Shut up dustin" Lucas says as Dustin and I laugh "Race for best comic" Dustin says as I drive faster on my bike. "HEY I DIDN'T SAY GO" " GET BACK HERE! I'M GONNA KILL YOU!" Dustin yells "I'LL TAKE YOUR X-MEN 134!" I say biking away "Son of a bitch" I hear Dustin say.

I'm biking my way home as I see this shadow of a man...I think it's a man. I fall off my bike and rush into the woods going to my house. I rush inside trying to find Mom or Jonathan "Mom?! Jonathan?!" I yell going over to the window and seeing that thing walking towards the house. I run over to the phone dialing Mom's number "MOM?! MOM?!" I hear the door rattle as I look over to the door lock seeing it unlock as I drop the phone running out to the shed putting bullets into a gun. I hold the gun in front of the door hopefully to kill whatever that thing is. I hear a growl behind me as I slowly turn around seeing the monster. The light gets brighter as the monster takes me as I scream for help. The light goes out with nothing in the shed...

Luna's Pov:

I instantly wake up to the sound of growling. I don't even hesitate to get up and run. I'm running in this ghastly and toxic environment. Getting cut by the branches I step on, not looking back with no hesitation. No chances...no chances this thing will keep me alive. I've been here for 2 years now...with this monster. How did I survive...don't even ask. I've been trying to kill this monster. This toxic environment made me used to it, the darkness, toxic air, and the coldness.
I hear the monster as I hide behind a tree. I see it carrying something I can't seem to comprehend...please don't be another animal. I try and see what the thing is closer quietly but I step on a branch. "Shit" I say as the monster looks at me before trying to attack me. A warm sensation in my arms making purple energy flames float from my hands. I shoot an energy flame at the monster causing it to shriek as I rush over to whatever it was carrying grabbing their arm to get to a safe spot. We stop running hiding in one of the safe spots I've found since I've been here, my home...well my home covered in vines. I walk over to the couch and collapse on it as I look over to the kid and see it's a boy around my age. I see them move back from me in fear. "W-who a-are you" The person says stepping back to the wall. I walk closer and see a boy with bowl-cut hair. No...it can't be.

Will's Pov:

I hear a branch snap and see the monster and someone who stepped on the branch. I try and get a closer look but then I see whoever that is with what looks like purple flames in their hands. They start attacking the monster with what seems like energy blasts. How in the world are they doing this...who is this person...The monster shrieks causing me to cover my ears. The person grabs onto my arm getting us to somewhat safety in this strange place. They take me into this house...wait this seems familiar...IT'S LUNA'S OLD HOUSE! I see the person collapse onto what seems like the couch. The house seems more clean and somewhat sanitized than outside. It looks like a girl. I step back away from the girl in fear "W-who a-are you" I say stepping back into the wall. I get a closer look at the girl seeing her long curly brown hair with bangs, she has blue eyes that look too familiar. I see a bracelet on her wrist that looks WAY too familiar. It can't be, it can't be her there's no way. "Will?" The girl says in a soft voice, that voice, my precious. "Luna?"

Suddenly Luna's vision starts to blur as she faints. "LUNA?! LUNA! LUNA!" I yell trying to wake my best friend. What's wrong with her, I look over at her leg to see some weird and disgusting wound, I scramble around the house to find something to heal Luna. Pouring some alcohol and bandaging her wound up, I brush some of Luna's bangs out her face as my eyes get sleepy and darkness surround me.

...

Days and days. Days of waiting for Luna to wake up. Just unconscious. She's still breathing but since we first found each other something HAD to happen to disrupt our eternity of friendship.

Suddenly the room around me grows dark as I see a girl in a pink dirty dress look at me. "Will? We're going to help you. W-who is that?"

I was about to say something but I grow colder and the monster drew closer. I close my eyes as I hold onto Y/n to keep us together at last.

...

Coughing as I suddenly wake up in the upside down as I see my mom and Hopper. Hugging my mom, I hear Hopper sob over seeing his daughter.

"Y/n? Is that really you." "She is not okay right now. Something happened and she couldn't be conscious for the last few days or I think it was days."

Picking his daughter up, we all exit the upside down to return home in the real world as I close my eyes to sleep.

a/n: AHHHHHH MY 2ND STORY HERE ON WATTPAD AND IT'S A WILL BYERS STORY YAYYYYYY. Sorry to leave y'all on a HUGE cliffhanger. Luna's been alive all this time ("after all this time" "always" SORRY HAD TO) Luna has powers now too. WHATTTTTT?!?!?!?!?! Who knows what'll happen next, where did Luna get her powers, how did she survive, and more importantly how is she in the upside down.
