~ 9 ~

The next day began as Luna shot up out of bed. Well Max's bed. Max woke up startled by Luna as the girl with the bangs who fell out of bed.

Max looked at Luna who stood up like she hadn't fallen out of bed. "I'M UP!" Max bursted out laughing. One because of her friend falling off the bed. And two, Luna immediately healed and risen up.

"H-how did you- HOW ARE YOU NOT IN PAIN?!"

"Well if you've been through the pain of living in Hawkins Labs where there were many ways to punish us kids... then you'll become immune to the pain. Plus I heal quickly."

Luna went to the bathroom and bumped into someone on the way. "Oof! Shit! Sorry, my bad." The girl looked up to see Billy.

"No, no. My apologies. You are Max's friend uh the chief's daughter, Luna. Right?"

"Uh yeah... that's me."

"Cool. Nice to finally be of your acquaintance." Billy smiled looking Luna up and down. Max walked down the hallway seeing this.

"Billy, stop flirting with my friend." Max said which pained Luna inside a bit as she just now remembered about what happened last night.

"I'm not flirting with her! Besides I can't help that the ladies love me. I am handsome." Max rolled her eyes as she pushed Billy away.

"Sorry about him. He can be an ass sometimes."

"No, no. It's okay I mean I do live with El and my Dad, so I know how it feels." The girls laughed as they smiled at each other.

"Umm... look Max I'm sorry for uh ya know... kissing you last night."

"Oh. No- yeah it's fine. I promise you everything is fine. Just uhh... let's not tell Lucas about this please."

Luna smiled and nodded as she opened the bathroom door but was stopped by Max. "Luna! Uh the kiss... you weren't bad to be honest. Oh! I almost forgot here's some clothes you can wear and keep if you want cause I never wear this." Max smiled, handing the clothes over to Luna as she walked back to her room.

Luna hopped in the shower and dried her hair as she brushed her teeth. It was quiet. All you could hear was the birds chirping, sound of music from Billy's room, and the ticking of a clock.

Luna spit out the toothpaste as she left the room to find Max sitting on the couch.

"You ready?" Max said as Luna smiled, nodding her head.

It was the day Dustin came back home from his science camp. The rest of the crew hid behind a wall as El used her powers to bring Dustin's toys to life. Luna did the same as she made the lights flicker.

Lucas, then Max, Luna, Will, Mike, and El. They all scooted closer to hide as Dustin made his way towards the living room. "Now!" Mike and Will whisper-yelled to El and Luna as they opened their eyes to make everything stop.

The crew sneaked out from the spot as they all yelled out in surprise for Dustin being home. Dustin screamed as he held out a can of Farrah Fawcett Spray out at Lucas, spraying his eyes.

"OW, OW, OW!" Lucas complained as he held his face under the water faucet.
