- The Flower Left Untouched
The Bunny Meets A Demon
"What is going on today?!" The demon chuckled at the clearly confused civilians. The demon is very fascinated by people on the surface, and they loved to torment them. Like flipping skirts, knocking into them causing them to drop their items, or just being a nuisance all together.
I wonder why no one is telling them to stop. A decently small girl wondered as she saw the person with horns and bat wings causing a ruckus for people. The demon sighed as they walked the people stubble around, confused. "Pathetic. I almost feel bad for them." The demon spoke as they pushed over yet another person. "What keeps doing that?" The knocked over person questioned.
"Can they not see the demon?" The small girl questioned as she turned her body to the mess of people being haunted by a demon they probably can't see. The girl watched as many people passed by the demon as it they weren't even there.
The demon eventually made it very close to the girl, and the girl instinctually looked down in a rush. As if she'd turn to stone if she looked at the demon. The demon noticed the sudden movement of the girl and ended up getting very close to her, wondering why. The demon tried to look the girl in the eyes but the girl moved her head away when the demon tried to. Why is no one helping me? Someone is all up in my face and I'm clearly uncomfortable.
The girl thought, trying to glanced at people passing by. Why is she moving like that? Can she see me? The demon wondered as they continued to try to look the girl in the eyes. "Hey, girly." The demon spoke up in a monotone voice, which caught the girl's attention but she still didn't look at them.
The demon studied the strange looking demi-human and only saw her limestone skin tone, her black hair with slight dark pink strands, and her pink eyes. The demon stared blankly at the girl, watching her rabbit ears twitch every now and again due to the sounds of people walking. The demon, starting to get bored, poked her cheek for a reaction, any reaction. The girl jumped back from the demon and rubbed her cheek.
"Ah, you felt that." The demon said as they stood up. The girl, without thinking twice, began to speed walk away from the demon. The demon slowly walked behind her, still interested if the girl can see them. Why are they following me? They even look creepy..
Once the girl got to a building, as she reached the corner to the other side she bolted as fast as she can. Once the demon, who was still decently far behind because they were walking, caught up to the corner, they smirked watching the demi-human run. "Poor little bunny." The demon spoke before they walked back behind the building to teleport.
The girl turned into a alleyway as she huffed and puffed, trying to catch her breath. The girl popped her head out of the dark alleyway and looked behind her direction and saw no one following her. She sighed calmly before she turned around and the demon was standing there with their arms crossed. The girl shrieked as she fell to the ground, clutching her heart which made her ears drop.
"Ah ha~ so you can see me!" The demon said as they leaned over the frightened girl. The demi-human stared at the demon, identifying them. Their hair was long, in a high ponytail, the hair was white that turned to a fated purplish color near the ends. Their eyes shined in the light, making the color out as a pastel muted purple.
"Excuse me miss, are you alright? I heard you scream." An old woman asksd as she looked down the alleyway and saw a single, panicked person. "U-Um.. yes ma'am. A rat just scared me." The demi-human said as she stood up, dusting herself off. The woman walked away with a smile and the girl looked at the demon.
The demon leaned over the girl, very close to her face. "So, little bunny," The demon spoke to the demi-human. "How can you see me? Did you summon me? Maybe pricked yourself at a dangerous looking dagger?" The demon asked her millions of questions before they got quiet all of a sudden and leaned backwards, crossing their arms again with their eyes closed.
The girl stood there lost for what happened before she cleared her throat. "Um.. My name is Macy Lewis." She said, holding out her hand to the demon. The demon peaked open an eye and looked at her before they shook her hand gently. "I'm Hinn King." The demon then teleported to the other side of the girl, leaning against her in a different outfit. "But you can call me demon." The demon paused before they looked at her.
"Why can you see me? Did you make a deal of some kind?" The demon asked once more. Bombarding the poor girl with millions of questions that the girl didn't know how to answer.
"I don't know!"The girl said, raising her voice at the demon before she held herself in her arms and looked down. The demon stared at the girl for a moment before they sighed and leaned against thin air, staring at her. "Do you listen to music?" The demon asked, moving to simpler questions for the poor overwhelmed girl. The girl nodded gently as an answer. "What kind? You don't seem like the type for hardcore metal." The demon joked, gently nudging the girl.
"I.. usually listen to Korean music. Is.. is that weird?" The girl asked, perking up a single ear. "No, no, not my cup of tea but you can like whatever you want." The demon waved their hand at the girl, standing up. The demon then slapped their forehead before looking at the bunny. "I just realized I called you girly, are those your correct pronouns?" The demon said, holding out a hand to the small girl. "Yes.. thank you for asking.." Both her ears perked up.
"What are your pronouns?" The girl asked the demon. The demon stared at her before leaning backwards a bit. "I don't exactly have any.. so.. I guess you can just use they or them." The girl then smiled, making the demon smirk with an idea.
"Okay, look," the demon began as they wrapped an arm around the girl. "So, one, you're practically a child, two, you can see me so you're clearly interesting, and three, you're like 5'3 so I don't trust you to live without me." The bunny demi-human stared at the demon in confusion and the demon patted her back. "What I'm saying is, I'm sticking by you for a while." The demon said with a smirk.
"Okay."
