No one's POV

Harry looked around Diagon Alley in awe for a few seconds before James grabbed Harry by the arm and started dragging him to their first destination, Gringotts. Once they got inside they passed several wizard families trying to get money from their vaults, many of them yelling at the goblins, which Harry found a little rude. He had read up on both Gringotts and goblins, and to say that goblins were very kind creatures would be a lie, not to mention they were considered 'dark creatures' and they held almost every wizard in Britain's money, Harry would think that people would be a little nicer to them.

James went up to the head goblin, Griphook, pushing past people as he did, almost losing Harry in the process. Once he got to the front he fake coughed loudly to get Griphooks attention, even though the goblin was clearly doing something. Griphook looked up from what he was doing to see James Potter with crossed arms, tapping his foot impatiently, and a small boy he didn't recognize who was partially behind James, looking uncomfortable. Griphook signed before speaking.

"Lord Potter. What a surprise, when you came to get money for Polly's Hogwarts equipment, I wasn't expecting you to come by later in the same da-" Griphook said, but was interrupted by James.

"You will refer to my daughter as the girl-who-lived and nothing else." James spat out as he glared at Griphook. "Harry here needs his Hogwarts stuff, so we need to get more money from our vault to do so. Here's my key," James threw a key in front of Griphook, slightly messing up the papers that were on Griphook's desk, "now take us to the Potter vault, now." James said, sounding annoyed. Griphook glared at James, and if glares could kill, James would've been dead under Griphook's glare.

"Please" Harry whispered, just loud enough for Griphook to hear, in the goblin language. James paid no mind to it as he didn't realize Harry was speaking a different language, one that he didn't know himself, so to him Harry was simply just making random noises. Griphook looked at Harry, his eyes widened just slightly, as he nodded and got off his chair, before gesturing for James and Harry to follow him.

They went down to the minecarts and got in, first Griphook, then James, then Harry. As soon as both of Harry's feet were in the minecart it zoomed off, heading towards the Potter vault. As soon as they crossed it the minecart came to a fast halt and James stepped out of it, looking unfazed, unlike Harry, who was a little dizzy, since it was his first time. James went up to the vault door and put the vault key in the keyhole in the center of the vault door. After a few seconds the vault opened up and James went in it. Harry started walking to catch up to his father but stopped when his father turned around and glared at him.

"Wait here. I don't need you stealing money from our family. You already waste enough money from this family." James snarled, then turned around and headed into the vault. Harry stood there for a second, eyes watering with tears. Of course James thought that Harry was the one that spends all the Potter money. It's not like Lily took Polly shopping nearly every week whenever stores restocked so that Polly could get the best of the best.

Out of the corner of Harry's eye he could see Griphook come up to him, and once Griphook was standing next to Harry, he handed Harry a handkerchief, which he used to whip my eyes. Harry mumbled a quick thanks and handed it back to him. Griphook smiles at Harry, before speaking.

"How did you learn gobbledegook? It's a very ancient language that most don't teach their young. You, however, speak it flawlessly, and by the looks of it, Lord Potter didn't teach you, or even understand it." Griphook said, not taking his eyes off of the vault door.

"I am very flattered that you say that I speak gobbledegook flawlessly, as I have been practicing for this very occasion. You are correct, my father didn't teach me, nor do I think he knows it himself. There are many books in the Potter library that have gobbledegook in it. Because my family is always awing over Polly, I spend a lot of time in the library reading, and came upon some of the books. I taught myself to read several, both magical and non-magical, languages. I can now say I am fluent in French, Spanish, Latain, German, Chinese, Mermish, Gobbledegook, and many other languages." Harry says, not trying to brag or anything but when he look at Griphook, who is a few centimeters shorter than him, he saw him looking at Harry in awe.

"You're telling me that you can speak in seven, if not more, languages... and you're eleven?" Griphook asked me, as if unsure. Harry let out a small giggle before speaking.

"I think I would know if I wasn't eleven." He says, smiling. Griphook looked at him for a second before chuckling.

"It's a shame, really, that you are so young. If you were to be older I would offer you a job here at Gringotts. Knowing so many languages is handy for several jobs. If you continue to study how you did with languages you will be very successful in your life. If you ever need anything, you always have a friend at Gringotts." Griphook said to Harry with a smile, holding his hand out for him to shake. Harry looked at it for a minute before looking back up at Griphook and shaking it.
