"Did you see him?" That's the fifth time I heard someone gushing on Logan. After quick introductions I never looked at him again or else I'll be just like those girls. Not good for my morale. That's great Celin, give yourself a good mental pat on the head. I catch myself mid-way nodding in real life. Stop it thoughts, go away!
Now, where am I? Oh right. We're just waiting for Evelyn's boyfriend, Reid. I once met him during Christmas, I heard he flew from Bellhamsville to New Fort last minute to be with her. That's an effort right there but it's too cheesy much for me. Avoiding seeing Logan's face a cute outfit caught my attention. That's so cute. I wish I can buy it. Wait-no, why would I? I have enough clothes and I'll probably get tired of it in the long run. Yeah.
"There he is.", said Evelyn who slowly welcomed Reid with a hug. They exchanged few more sweet gestures, almost ignoring me and Logan. Goodness gracious, why do people turn into the cheesiest version of themselves when they're in a relationship? When they're done being gushy Reid took all the shopping bags. It took another minutes for them to stop the "Let me. No! Let me do it." scenario. Watching them irritates my eyes. I need eyes drops when I get home.
We settled for a pizza place. Finally, I can eat and have a chair to sit. My feet are crying in pain. The pizza came in not long after we ordered. Evelyn was the one who did mostly the talking. I on the other hand did most of the eating and chugging down that coke. And I can say, I did pretty good at that.
"...That's interesting, let's go there next summer! Ah, I think Josie mentioned that place before." A sudden awkward halt of silence came. What's going on? The two couples looked like they're walking on eggshells.
Logan let out an exasperated sigh to those two. I wonder what's the tea?
"You can talk about her freely when I'm around, you know."
"Of course. " Followed by an awkward laugh, I can tell my bubbly cousin is desperate to change the topic. Ried on the other hand seemed alright. I need to get out of here. I excused myself for a restroom break. When I returned only my cousin remained sitting on our table.
"Where's the guys?"
"Reid said he forgot to buy something and Logan went to the restroom just earlier. "
"What's with the tension about earlier?" I asked, pretending to be a curious cat but honestly I've been quiet all along. I feel like I need to socialize a little.
"She's Logan's ex. and my best friend. They've been on and off since we were freshmen but I think they aren't gonna makeup sooner." Her ever bright smiling face was replaced with worry.
"They'll be fine. Eve, you worry too much as if you're their mom."
"Hey, I'm being serious here." In an instant that worried face turned into death glares.

Aunt Lydia invited me for dinner so I tagged along. While waiting for dinner, my beautiful cousin dragged me into her lair. She lied down her bed and I took a seat in one of her bean bag chair. I'm beat up. My tiredness are kicking in. Now that I'm not doing anything, I can feel how my feet are in pain. Then suddenly Evelyn got up like a dead being brought to life. She grabbed her shopping bags and threw it all on the bed."Time to pick your outfit for your first day."
"Nope. Not gonna happened."
"Yes, it will." she tackled me, restricting my attempt to runaway. Just like that I have no other choice but to obey.
After a couple of changes, I've settled for this:
