🌜

VALINCIA

"Hey I'm going out again!" I tell my mom before leaving the house. "Be safe and don't do anything your not supposed to!" Mom shouted back at me.

For the last week I've been visiting the lake in hopes of seeing the gray haired girl.

I haven't seen her yet but I feel like she'll come back. Hopefully.

For the past couple of days, I've been bringing my art supplies to paint the scenery. It's been a fat minute since I've painted.

My lazy ass can't do anything for more then a hour

Making my way behind the the trees, I get a clear view of the lake. I scan my eyes on the border of the lake stopping as I see familiar grey hair.

It's her

She's wearing something similar from what I saw last time but in blue instead.

Moving closer to her, I make sure I don't trip on any logs. I successfully make my way closer to where I could see her face.

It was breathtaking.

A literal work of art.

She had a oval- round head. Her hair framed her face perfectly. Her eyes cold blue which completed her pale skin. She also had a cute little button nose. Her eyebrows were a dark brown and looked natural .

Those eyebrowssss

She was sitting on the same rock but this time she was concentrated in a black notebook.

I moved to where I could see her a little better and took out my paints. Yes I'm going to paint her; she's to pretty not too.

I stared at her for a minute taking it all in.

Stared a little too long there buddy

Taking out my pencil, I sketched out her side profile structure. As I finished up the sketch I took out my paints. I started by painting the background. Then moving to her face I put a wash of her undertone, then maping the shadows and highlights.

I take another good look at her before I start painting again.

I start to paint the darkest darks then putting on her mid tones. Then I go back and forth between the lights, darks, and mids.

I've been sitting here for almost and hour now. With her still scribbling in her notebook with headphones in, while I watch her as I paint.

Finally I enhance her features with a detail brush.

And I'm done

God her profile is so pretty

Comparing the two, I grin satisfied with my painting.

I clean my paint brushes then coated them in Vaseline. It keeps them in shape.

Putting everything down, i sigh.

I'm really confused and frustrated right now. My mind keeps on telling me to go to her.
To talk to her.

But my body just won't move. It's like my ass was superglued to the ground and the urge of talking to her was growing.

Fuck feelings

I get up taking one step forward before taking that step back. Every drop of courage in me was flushed as nervousness took over.

The last time I had felt nervous was with my ex.

But I lost all love for her when she threw 2 years down the drain. And the worst part is that she cheated right in front of me and didn't care. She didn't even try to come back.
