I sat at the end of the pool, kicking my legs into the slightly heated water, being surrounded by The Fab Four. My sunglasses gave my view a light tinted shade to the boys. Johnny came up to me, swimming like a little otter. I was reading a familiar book to me, The Great Gatsby, to be precise, it was my favourite as a little girl.

"Come on, love! Ye comin' in or not?" John laughed, holding my ankles to keep him afloat, I bickered with him by moving them about so he'd stop pestering me. This would be the third time he came up in the space of 15 minutes.

"Not today John. It's just fine up here!" I laugh, kicking him away. His hands drift away, but his eyes still keep in contact with mine. I hold my book above the water

"You not comin' in, YN?" George hollers over the other side of the pool, jumping in and splashing the rest of the boys as well as him. I get the back of it, getting wet slightly. The pages of my book had a few coin sized globs of from the water, that bothered me a little but it already had a cracked spine, it had stuck with me for well over 7 years.

"I'm practically in now, so is my book. Thanks George!" I barbed while bellowing over a watching John pout, waiting for my company. George laughed as he arose from his giant leap into the blue water, Ringo began to swim over to him, leaving me with John and Paul. Paul wasn't too bothered with me not coming in, but now it seemed that he was getting a little bored of my stubbornness.

"Ye comin' in or not! Johns gonna pull you ya in if ya can't decide!" Paul laughed, swimming frantically just to keep himself within our reach. I took my sunglasses off from my head, holding my book with my left hand. I closed it and placed it to the side of the pool, putting my sunglasses off from my head only the cover. John kept giving me little frowns, fussing and whining because I didn't go in, but for his luck, I couldn't even say anything before he pulled my leg.

I got submerged and quite literally bathed in the water, I couldn't help but laugh, despite how angry I was. I definitely couldn't stay mad for long and so I swam around, trying to catch my breath, hearing the laughs of Paul and John. I turned around, swaying my legs around to see Paul laughing and I gasp.

"Paul, you too! Of all people!" I say, giving him a sarcastic frown, he had pulled me into. I look to John and he pouts, trying to keep back his laughter. Paul is supposed to be one of the kinder boys to me..

"Sorry Sue, yacouldn't bloody make ya mind up!" Paul laughed along with John, I swim just in front of them, shivering to the slight cold. Paul sees Ringo and George splashing each other, he clearly wants to join in, "Wait!"

I'm left with John, I stare in his eyes, his hairs ever so slightly damp.

"I'm sorry! Well, now you're in now.." John laughed and I smiled. "You have a lovely smile,"

I blushed slightly to his constant reminding to me that I have nice teeth, I personally don't think I do, he tells me a lot.

"You said the same this morning," I smile slot more, being appreciative of his sweetness. He moved beside me, paddling but resting his hands above the pool side. What is he doing?

He started getting out of the water, pulling himself out of the and doing a good job at his upper arm strength. He walked out, water dripping from him everywhere as he took a towel from one of the chairs.

"Uh, Jonathan!" I use his 'full name' when I'm cross and it usually makes him giggle. He did so, I attempted to get out of the pool as he just left me. Expect me to come in with you when you get out as I do so!

I rested my hands on the tiled edge of the pool and failed, falling back into the water. John laughed at me as he ruffled his hair with the towel, I could hear the other boys finding something to laugh at. I think George and Paul were doing a diving competition, it seemed like Paul was winning.

I sighed and gave John a sarcastic dirty look to which he walked right by my hands. Help me, don't just stand there. He wrapped the towel around his waist and laughed at me trying once more.

"Come here.." He laughed softly as he bent down and picked me up as if I was a bunch of feathers, I was quite small compared to him. I lifted out the water, holding my arms around his neck as his were by my waist. I dropped onto the flooring, shivering even more.

"Wheres my towel?" I ask through chittering teeth, John looks at me for a little while like he did before he picked me up from the start. I covered my arms with my hands and folded them across my waist to attempt some warmth as if a towel was covering me.

John looked to George and Paul who were watching George on the edge of the pool, holding a dry towel, swinging it over the surface of the pool trying to do something stupid. Paul ripped it off him and it fell into the water. I sighed happily, that's my towel, the pink one.

"George, that's Sue's towel!" Ringo laughed beneath a small stern voice, I know he wanted to be kind but he couldn't help to laugh at it—it was funny. John looked at me again, smiling and suppressing a chuckle. We watched George do a Geronimo into the pool, soaking Ringo and Paul beside him while my towel continued to absorb more water.

"Don't worry, you can have mine," John smiled, taking the towel from his waist and throwing it gently over me, it was so warm.
