Reborn Into a New Me

Chapter 2

~*AT SCHOOL*~

Finallyyy! It looks like I've made it here a little early. I wonder if Emilia is here, she should be here any minute now.

Here I am standing beside the school gate. I took the time to look at my watch and notice that I did arrive a little too early, I guess I should go to my classroom first and read my book since I fell asleep last night while reading it.

As I was walking towards the our classroom, I saw some few students taking some small glances at me. Well, can't blame them. I really am cold and unapproachable for them. The only person who understands me is Emilia or also known as my only friend in this school but her sister Emily is against of me becoming her friend.

If I heard it correctly, some students said that it's because of my cold attitude towards others and how I look like a perfectionist that others can't approach at. They even said that Emily is jealous of me because of that. Gosh, I hope she'll change her point of view towards me.

When I arrive at my destination, I went towards my seat as I glance some students whispering. Yup, better to not mind them.

"Miria! Earth to Miria!" I suddenly spaced out again and got back to my senses as I turn around and saw Emilia beside me waving her hands to greet me.

I blink as I look at her. "Oh Emilia, I didn't see you there." I said without a hint of emotion in my voice. "Moa~ That was mean of you. Anyways, I just got here and sis isn't with me because she's hanging out with her friends today." Emilia told me as I just nod and got back into reading the book.

Well, I'm just glad that I wasn't able to see her face this morning. It would be bad thing if she knew that Emilia is still hanging out with me.

After awhile the bell rang signaling us that it's time for class, so the students rush back to their seats as class will start now.

~*BREAK TIME*~

Why do I suddenly feel uneasy?

"Hey Miria! I'm gonna go and get something to eat at the cafeteria. Is there anything that you want to buy there? I could buy it for you." Emilia ask smiling at me. I look at her and nod "Just a lemon drink will do." I told her as she nod and went towards the cafeteria.

As I was looking at her going out of our classroom, I saw a tint of familiar figure that followed her.

Was that Emily? Mmm, never mind. Must be my imagination.

After awhile while waiting for Emilia to come back, I took a look at my watch and notice that it's almost time for class to start again.

Where is she? Break time is almost over..

I look towards the door only to see Emily going back to her own classroom. Is it just me or it's weird that Emily came back first before Emilia? Maybe she had came across some professor and was asked to ran some errand for them.

Soon the bell rang signaling us that break time is over. I guess she did ran some errand from one of our professor and so class has resumed. I opened my book again to read our lesson for today.

~*LUNCH TIME*~

I begun to really worry now, she wasn't even in our class after break time. I got up and went outside the classroom and begun to search around for her. I first went to the cafeteria since that's the first place that she's been but she wasn't there. I then went to the bench area, library and even asked the professors if they have seen her but they didn't either.

Lastly, I went to the rooftop only to find that the door is open. I slowly open the door, went out and look around first.

Seems like somebody's been here awhile ago..

I went to the exit door on the right side from the entrance door, not that far from it. As I slowly approach the exit door's corner. I slowly gasped as I saw Emilia lying there with her eyes close, blood dripping from her head, a lot of bruises around her body. At this time, I was in rage and full of anger inside me.

"Emilia! Wake up! Emilia!" I shouted trying to wake her up as I saw her still breathing, I started carrying her and ran a bit towards the infirmary.

~*TIMESKIP*~

After I've arrived at the infirmary, I told the professors what just happened and told me to just go back to the classroom since they will handle it and the nurse also said that she'll look after Emilia.

Who would have the nerve to do that to Emilia!? Whoever you are, I wanna strangle you to death!

I arrived at the classroom and took a seat at my place, the students all shiver at the aura I'm giving off now. I took a quick glance at the corner and saw Emily smirking.

Don't tell me?!

~*DISMISSAL TIME AT THE ROOFTOP*~

I look at Emily, full of rage and anger in my eyes. Looking at her makes me sick, how could she do that to her own sister?!

"Why did you even do that!? Isn't she your sister!?" I screamed at her, I shouldn't have known you were such a cold hearted person.

"I don't even care if she's my sister, she betrayed me!" she answered back. Laughing like a total lunatic towards me. "Don't you drag Emilia into this! It's just between you and me" I said back to her.

"She disobeys her own sister because of you! This is the only thing that I could do to get her back to her senses!" Emily said coming closer towards me.

"You little-!" As I was about to attack her on the rooftop of the school, she suddenly pushed me making me fall from high up. Suddenly my vision becomes blurry and soon darkness took over.
