Chapter 4

~*NOON TIME*~

I slowly flutter my eyes open only to find myself in my crib now.

Wait.. Did I just fell asleep?..

I wonder what time is it now?.. If I remember correctly, mom was carrying me in her arms awhile ago while watching over my big bro and sis.

"Is little sis still sleeping, Emi?" I heard Kyuu's voice while sliding the door open going inside our room.

"I haven't checked on her now yet Kyuu, since when I've arrive here awhile ago she was still sleeping." Emi said back.

"I'm gonna check on her now then." He said while I heard his footsteps coming towards me.

I slowly look at him as he gaze down at me, he sure has great facial looks as well but at the same time I got the feeling that he's a bad boy type but at the same time loves his family very much. He has white hair and black colored tips, that goes the same for his ears and tail.

I suddenly heard another pair of footsteps coming towards me and saw that it was my big sis Emi who suddenly peek at me beside Kyuu. As for Emi, she sure looks so pretty and attractive and I got to say that she might be a smart person too. I'm glad that I have such amazing siblings in this life hehe.

*stomach suddenly rumbling* Don't tell me that I felt hungry now..

Wahhh! I need food! Can't leave without it!

I started crying as a baby signaling them that I'm already hungry. Gosh I need the freaking milk or I'll faint due to starvation.

"Ohh noo Kyuu get the bottle, quick!" Emi said urging Kyuu to get it on the table quick. Kyuu immediately left and I think went to grab the bottle of milk.

Not a moment too soon he came back and gently gave me the bottle to drink.

Yeyyy finally, got to satisfy my hungerrr;-;

I wonder if my dad has arrived home yet? And what is mom doing at this time as well?..

While I stared at them silently drinking my milk, I heard someone suddenly slide the door open.

Kyuu and Emi quickly look towards the door only to see an ayakashi with a lot of dark evil aura surrounding it. They've suddenly activated their first-tailed kitsune form but that actually wasn't enough to scare off that ayakashi.

"What's this? hehehe~ The third heir of the Kitsune clan seems to have some irresistible strength within her~ Makes me wanna eat her alive and absorb her soul strength~" said the evil ayakashi looking towards the two siblings protecting their little sis.

"Who are you exactly?!" Kyuu shouted towards the ayakashi preparing to attack.

"Heh, my name isn't even worth for you to know~ Hand over her heaven kitsune soul!" the ayakashi said back while it suddenly rush towards them to attack.

Emi created a barrier for her to protect Rin while Kyuu jump up towards the ayakashi and fire with his will-o-whisp blue flame hitting the ayakashi on the it's eyes while it also attack Kyuu back scratching his shoulder. Both landed on the ground panting since both of them are now badly injured.

Where are mom and dad anyway?! Damn it, I don't want them to get injured because of me!

I suddenly cried out loud and a bright light was shining around me, a symbol slowly appeared on my forehead while crying.

~*MEANWHILE*~

Mr. and Mrs. Yasuko had just arrived at the clan's gate, at the same time being greeted by the clan's subordinates as well. While walking back towards the the main house, Mr. Yasuko suddenly felt a strange and dangerous atmosphere and at the same time saw a bright light that gave him the thought that his children are in danger.

He then look at his wife and they both nod at each other, his wife must have sense it as well. Mrs, Yasuko called some clan guards to go with her while Mr. Yasuko transformed into his nine-tailed kitsune form and rush towards the main house.

~*BACK TO THE MAIN HOUSE*~

I suddenly sense dad coming home for some reason that made me slowly stopped crying and also realized that I myself am glowing a lot. I can hear Kyuu still fighting the ayakashi while Emi is trying to keep up with the barrier she have put around me and her.

*Bang bang bang*

I suddenly heard the banging of the door trying to break inside our room, at the same time I heard some voices from outside.

"Puny and weak just like your grandparents before~ No wonder they say that blood is blood~" said the ayakashi.

By the time now, Emi and Kyuu are back to their human form, they have used up a lot of their soul powers already while I have already stopped glowing. When the ayakashi was about to attack them, Mr. Yasuko finally was able to break in and attack the evil ayakashi.

"Don't you dare lay a single finger on my children!" Mr. Yasuko suddenly said while his on top of the ayakashi.

"Oh look who it is~ The child of those weaklings~ Too bad, I was about to end all of your children's lives as I will suck out all their kitsune souls and give it to Lord Moshijo~" the ayakashi said back to Mr. Yasuko with an evil grin.

"What are you even after this time?! What is his plan now?!" he shouted back at him angrily.

"Too soon to tell you~ too soon indeed~ hahaha!" ayakashi answered back now laughing like a lunatic.

Mr. Yasuko started glowing out of anger then bit it and activated his teleport ability to transport him and the ayakashi to the clan arena with the subordinates around him while Mrs. Yasuko rushed towards her fainted and injured children to heal them along with their clan medics.

I look at mom as she had tears on her eyes when she grab and hug me, I have to say the events happened have given me a real shock and even gave me a lot of questions.

what was that light surrounding me before?..

who was that ayakashi?..

why does he even know our grandparents?..

Due to the exhaustion awhile ago I suddenly felt tired and sleepy.

It must have been the light that I've produce awhile ago..

Soon later on without me knowing I have fallen asleep thinking about all those things..
