~Jisung Pov.

"Jisung!" the orange haired freckled boy came up to me and I dropped right into his arms, he wrapped his arms around my neck and hugged me tightly.
"Felix you're crushing me." Laughing, I tried to free myself from Felix's embrace as I almost couldn't breathe.

"I really missed you." the orange haired one whisked through my hair, destroying my hairstyle. Well, it wasn't a real hairstyle on my head either but at least my hair wasn't standing on end unlike now.

"Yah, you're destroying my hair!" I complained and stroked my hair several times to fix it while Felix just laughed.
"So, how was summer vacation?" Felix and I walked into the building together.
"Not really special... I went with my parents to their hometown Busan and after that I just spent most of my time at home." I pulled a pout since nothing interesting really happened during summer vacation.

Actually, I wanted to do something with my friends but they were all either on vacation or busy with their partners.
"And what was with Minho?" The orange haired one raised an eyebrow as he leaned against the lockers and crossed his arms.

My heart leapt at that name and my cheeks heated slightly.
Immediately I felt the flutter of a thousand little butterflies in my stomach and that feeling drove me crazy.

"He was busy hanging out with some girls..." I muttered annoyed to myself, rolling my eyes as I took my books out of the locker.

"Who was busy with whom?" A harsh voice suddenly sounded behind me, making me drop the books I had just held in my hands in shock.
"H-hyung..." I looked to the black-haired boy who was walking toward Felix and me, beaming from ear to ear.

That damn smile.

I immediately bent down to collect my dropped textbooks and put them in my backpack.

"Hey Minho Hyung!" Felix waved at the older one who patted him on the shoulder and gave him a smile.
"Hey Ji." I winced when Minho said my name and gave him a nervous smile.
He looked at me in wonder for a moment but then his familiar smile curled around his lips again.
"Oh come here!" Before I knew it Minho had put his arms around my neck and pulled me into a hug.

Minho's scent of light lemon and fresh tickled my nose and made me feel good inside. Every place he touched was followed by small flashes that made their way through my body towards my heart.
Sighing inwardly, I pressed myself against his chest and returned the embrace.
"I really missed you." the older broke away from me and then tousled my blonde hair.

Although I found it extremely annoying when someone did that, I didn't mind with Minho. I enjoyed every touch from him even though as his best friend I shouldn't.

"I heard you left Jisung all alone during vacation?" Felix gave Minho a feigned death glare but I knew for a fact that he meant it.

Minho had to start laughing because the orange-haired one looked really funny when he tried to look evil.
"Next time we'll go together." the black-haired one threw me a confident smile which I returned slightly.

Usually every vacation Minho and I would do something together. Whether it was going to Busan with my parents, or going to the beach house that Mr. Lee and Ms. Lee owned together with our parents.
We always did something together but since a few months ago that had changed extremely. Minho and I were still best friends but we didn't really spend much time together outside of school anymore.

"Yah!!!" Minho suddenly yelled out next to us and Felix and I looked to him in shock.
"What the hell?" the black haired one clicked his tongue as he looked at the mountain of letters on the floor in front of his locker.

He bent down and picked up a few of the letters and notes and read through them with a bored look on his face.
"Minho, I've admired you since day one and you're really very pretty. I love you.""Geez." Minho grimaced in disgust and stuffed the letters back into his locker, only to toss them into the trash can later.

It was not unusual that Minho got a lot of letters or notes from other girls since he was the girl's crush. Minho was popular, had good grades and was also a pretty good dancer. Sometimes I really wonder how the two of us can be friends. I'm the complete opposite of him: while he is open and always in the center of attention, I tend to stay in the background, avoid crowds and rather stick my nose in books than in... well, you know.

That's what you would call a typical nerd.

I was torn out of my thoughts when suddenly a warm hand laid on my back. My gaze wandered to my right, where Felix was looking at me with an encouraging smile.

Everyone in our group knew that I felt more than friendship for Minho and sometimes I wished that wasn't the case.

"Look who got a bunch of declarations of love again." Hyunjin suddenly appeared behind Minho and grabbed over Minho's shoulder one of the notes he had already packed in the locker.
"Minho, you're my everything?" Disgusted, the blond-haired boy dropped the love note back on the floor and received a blow to the back of his head at that moment.
"How many times do I have to tell you that other people's stuff is none of your business?" Next to Hyunjin came out Seungmin who clicked his tongue in annoyance.
"Oh babe~~~, don't get mad." Hyunjin pulled a pout but that didn't seem to interest the brown-haired boy.

"This pisses me off." with a loud slam, Minho closed the locker door and sighed heavily as he packed his books into his backpack.
"Why don't you read them, maybe there's someone you like?" Hyunjin leaned against the locker with his arms crossed, eyeing the black-haired boy with raised eyebrows.

I felt my heart tighten inside me. Yes, Minho didn't have any steady girlfriends or boyfriends but it wasn't completely unknown for him to have a thing with girls/boys every now and then.

"I'm not very good at love. You can't be as lucky as the other idiots and find your great love right in college." Annoyed, Minho pointed at Felix who just rolled his eyes in annoyance.
"How about Ji?" Hyunjin suddenly pointed at me and immediately my whole body stiffened. With wide eyes, I looked at Minho who was also looking at me in wonder. In the corner of my eye I could see Seungmin punching Hyunjin and Felix gave him a nasty look as well.
"Jisung?" the black-haired one started laughing and then put an arm around my shoulder and gave my hair a good shuffle.
"I could never fall in love with my brother, could I Ji?" the older one smiled at me and I agreed with a pained smile.

Great Ji, is there anything worse than ending up in the brother-zone?

Then as Minho broke away from me, the bell rang for the first class to begin and we walked together to our first class. Minho and Hyunjin had English together, while Felix, Seungmin, and I had Math.

"See you later!" Minho raised his hand and we waved to him.
"See you later babe." Hyunjin tried to give Seungmin a fleeting kiss on his cheek but he already skillfully moved his face away and rolled his eyes in annoyance.

With a pout, the blond-haired followed Minho and Seungmin sighed heavily.

Seungmin and Hyunjin were not a couple by any means, although it was plain to see that these two were secretly in love with each other. But Seungmin didn't let Hyunjin get any closer to him while Hyunjin kept provoking the younger one and making silly flirting attempts.

"Hyunjin is such a jerk." the brown-haired one muttered, crossing his arms.
"Sorry Ji, I'm afraid the stupid ferret is way too blind to realize how you feel about Minho." Apologized Seungmin and I quickly waved my hands.
"Oh nonsense, it's all good!" I assured Seungmin and then looked down at the ground and couldn't help but let out a sigh.

"Come on, we should get to our class now." Felix put his arms around our shoulders and dragged us along to math class.

I, on the other hand, was completely elsewhere with my thoughts and once again couldn't get those stupid letters out of my head.

Why do I have to feel like this?
