~ Jisung Pov.

"Jisung? Jisung!" Slowly I opened my eyes as I felt someone gently shake me awake by the shoulder.

Slowly I raised my head and looked through the café and the trickling against the window told me that it was still raining.

My gaze wandered to the front, where an acquaintance figure stood before me.
"Chan?" I raised both eyebrows and looked at the older one in wonder.
"What are you doing here?"

"I actually came to get a cake for Innie and what are you doing here? Has Minho left yet?" He sat down in the empty seat in front of me and eyed me.

Slowly, I lowered my head and looked down at my hands, which I had placed on my lap.
"Well..." I exhaled deeply and then looked back into Chan's eyes, still waiting for an answer.
"He didn't show up." I explained to him and he looked at me in disbelief. Before he could say anything, I interrupted him.
"But it's okay, he's probably busy." I tried to downplay my actual pain but I couldn't fool Chan. He was pissed off and I could tell.

"Come on, I'll take you to my place and Innie's for now. I can't let you walk home in this rain." Chan shook out of his chair and I did the same. I grabbed my bag while Chan went to buy the promised cake for Joengin and bought me a piece of cheesecake to comfort me.

When we arrived at Chan's house, Joengin stood in the hallway and looked at both of us in turn.
"Ji, what are you doing here?" he came up to me and gave me a quick hug, then broke away from me again.
"That idiot Minho just left him sitting in the café." Chan took the words out of my mouth and clicked his tongue irritably.
"He what?" Joengin looked first at Chan then at me with wide eyes.

The two of them were making this into a bigger drama than it actually is. After all, it's not like we were together and he had geared to dump his boyfriend without explanation.

I was just his friend.

Together with Joengin and Chan, I went into the dining room directly to put down my cheesecake.

With a pout, I poked around in the cake rather than eating it. Somehow I had lost my appetite.

"Did he at least texted you?" Chan crossed his arms on the table and I pulled my cell phone out of my pocket.
"No notification." I muttered, and I heard Chan snort in annoyance.

"He's in for a treat." Before anyone could react Chan was up and Joengin was also surprised.

The older one grabbed his cell phone and seemed to dial a number.

Wait, he's not going to...?

"Chan wai-" but it was already too late because Chan suddenly started shouting loudly into the receiver.
"Hey Minho you ass! You get your butt over here right now before I drag it over here!"

Perplexed, I looked at the brown-haired man who just lost all control. His carotid artery was clearly visible and that meant he was pissed off.

Joengin, meanwhile, took my hand and gave me a quick smile which I couldn't really return.
