Winter's Daughter

Chapter 5

~~~~~Amelia's POV~~~~~

It been a week since I got claimed and I'm so lonely. I'm staying in the Hermes cabin since the Boreas cabin isn't dome yet, but it should be done today. It's just as big as the other cabins. It is snow white with light blue trim and a snowflake above the door. You walk in and there are three bunk beds in the right corner, with six chests, two at the end of each bunk bed. The room is light blue with white trim, and wind patterns on the wall. It has a full bathroom with a shower and tub. On the floor is a big snowflake.

So I'm taking a walk in the forest when I hear a car drive up on the hill. I knew that we were getting new campers, but I didn't known when. Work I was excited when the van drove up. I ran to the hill and saw then orange van that I drove in to getting camp one week ago. I'm surprised when I see who gets out of the van.

I run up to the van and ask Mitchell if he brought any new campers. (Mitch went out for more campers the day after I got here.) "Ya, and I think you know them. " I was confused untill Merida hops out of the van.

"Mer!"

"Amelia?"

"I didn't know that you were a demigod! "

"I didn't either 'till this mornin'," she says with a chuckle. I was really happy until another person climbs out of the van. "Jack?!" I screamed. "What are you doing here!?"

"Well, well, well, you didn't tell me that she was gunna be here I would have come more willingly." he says with a smirk.

"Why is HE here? "

" He's a demigod too" Mitch answers.

"Ya, I'm a demi- whatever he said too. "

"Ugh, whatever" That pretty much ruined my day, and then it got worse. That night at the bonfire Merida was talking to Will Solace. She showed him her bow and a flaming bow started to burn over her head. But that's not what made it worse. Jack got claimed that night too. At the exact same time a snowflake appeared over his head. No he was not in the Boreas cabin, thank goodness, but he was a son of Kione and guess what! He gets to sleep I'm my new cabin! Yay! I've over heard some Aphrodite girls shipping me with him. Seriously! Can't they tell that I hate him! Ugh.
