chapter 7

❝what’s happening?❞

“just follow my lead” jeno told y/n who’s behind him, so she did follow him, they both stopped infront of a door, she’s guessing it was their meeting room.

Jeno opened the doors for them, and her hunch was right, it was their meeting room, and all other 6 leaders were sitting on their respective seats.

“please, take any vacant seat.” Mark offered y/n, as she looked around the room, she saw an empty seat beside Renjun, so she sat there.

“so, y/n.” Chenle tried to grab y/n’s attention which he did succeed on doing so “you’re probably wondering why we told you to go back here today, am I right?” chenle continued

Y/n nodded “but i’m pretty sure you guys called me for information about me, am I right?” she spoke, soon enough some of them nodded

“partially that yes... We also called you for an offer” Mark responded, y/n looked at Mark and asked what offer it was, “after this meeting we’ll tell you.” Mark just responded, y/n just nodded.

“before the meeting starts ... May I know everyone’s age? I’m pretty sure you guys know how old I am...” y/n asked

“right! I’m 22, Renjun said Jeno recently just turned 21, Haechan will turn 21 very soon, Jaemin also, then Chenle will be turning 20 soon, and lastly, Jisung just turned 19 a few months ago” Mark answered y/n’s question, y/n said thanks to Mark and the meeting started.

“y/n, this may sound like stalking but we need to know your background info... Like what did you mostly spend time on when you were a kid, where your parents and grandparents are....” Jisung spoke, y/n was nervous, but once again, it was for her sake so she did tell them her childhood.

“where do I start... As you guys may have already known, my parents are not humans, my grandma is a kitsune and my grandpa is human like me...” y/n explaining her life

“wait so- how long has been your grandma lived?” Jaemin asked
“900 plus years, she died when I was 10.” y/n responded to him

“But what kind of kitsune was your grandma?” Haechan asked also
“Time Kitsune, she was one out of the 39 time kistunes out there now they are down to 27.” y/n’s breathing hitched while answering his question

the boys were shocked, her grandma was one of the best Kitsunes ever to exist, they were pretty sure her grandma was Mae Amaterasu, the only time kitsune who died the most recent.

It also made the boys really question if y/n was faking, they know Mae Amaterasu was the mother of the vigilante Yoo Yesun, what they don’t know is the brainwashing.

“wait so it means your grandma is Mae Amaterasu?? She has the power to stop time and even rewind it, also be able to erase memories!” Renjun exclaimed

“wait- how do you guys know? What are you guys?” y/n’s question made their mouths shut, she was the only person who found it really weird that they know a lot about the Supernatural, most humans would say it’s a hoax.

“We’re humans, but we are also the leaders of the City that has the most Supernatural population in this country, it would be understandable on why we would know a lot....” Chenle protested in a suspicious manner....

“but still doesn’t explain on how you know my grandma, we’re talking about one of the rarest Kitsunes here, not all would know her.” y/n added

“but she was one of the greatest Kitsunes out there, she was able to control her fox spirit perfectly at the age of 38, commonly, Kitsunes will have a hard time controlling their fox spirit, takes them hundreds of years to master it.” Jaemin spoke, it is true, Kitsunes are tricksters, making the fox spirit too stubborn to be able to control.

Y/n knew what Jaemin was saying, a lot of kitsunes get the help of a skin-walker just to be able to control it.

“okay.... Ask me more questions then.”
Y/n said in defeat
“what are your cousins work?” Jisung asked
“Jeongyun oppa inherited our grandparents’ business, their business is called “M. Corp.”, i’m pretty sure you know that company-” y/n was cut off by chenle

“wait- do you mean THE M corp.? That’s one of the most successful companies in this country...” chenle commented, he was dumbstruck.

“Do you own a company Chenle?” she asked, Chenle nodded and continued “I own the Yeu company” he said cockily, making some of the boys scoff out by his actions

“so much pride, Zhong?” Jisung yapped “you don’t scare me child” chenle growled at him back.

“okay that’s enough kids, now, we’re here for y/n remember? Not for your growling session with eachother.” the oldest breaking ChenJi’s tense atmosphere, making them groan and look away.

“i should continue answering chenle’s question.... My other cousin, Jooyan oppa, works as a scientist just outside of Nurial” y/n continue, the boys just nodded and there was an awkward silence...

“anyways, what do you do most of the time when you were a kid?” Haechan asked

“i would paint, learn how to cook, I would read time to time, but I often go to my grandparents’ house, my parents would leave me there a lot” y/n responded to Haechan’s question, which made all of them somewhat....feel guilty.

Right after that, Mark felt like something was wrong so texted the others secretly, once the others got his message, they were tensed, and surely enough, y/n noticed it.

“are you guys okay?” y/n worriedly asked, Renjun looked at her and reassuringly smiled at her
“it’s just a text from our secretary, but we have to go now-” Renjun was cut off by Mark who said something shocking

“Let her join.”

OOOOOHHHHH- What is the last part all about 👀👀👀

I feel like I escalated things so quick but hey? We're already at chapter 7 yet you guys didn’t get to see the real Nurial city- the euphoric part of Nurial? Was just the front part of Nurial, what really is inside of Nurial is beyond dark.

Okay but I think the next chapter will be a mess 👌
