- the leader of a pack - one can become an alpha by killing another alpha, the powers transfers to them and becomes one. But once in every 100 years, a beta will rise to their occasion, becoming an alpha without having to kill one, that is what you call a true alpha. Just like Scott ( 2nd gif ) - a true alpha's eyes is a brighter red than an ordinary alpha's eyes - you can't steal a true alpha's power, only their own betas can, only their own making can.
