Chapter 11. "A family? Aren't we one already?" - TM

October, 2020
Azuki was sitting in front of the computer. Asahi's computer. She was watching the MVs, the stages, the fancams, all while working on her digital painting. She checked all the comments to find all the ones about Asahi, giggled at his fans' jokes and memes about him.
She went out to the kitchen to make some ramen. The dorm was silent because the boys were still at KBS filming their first variety show. She ate, cleaned and went back in Asahi's room.
She still couldn't get used to the pleasant clean smell of his room, her heart still flutters because of the smell of his room and his bed. While finishing a digital painting of Asahi, she heard the house door opening and the boys' excited voices. They were hyping, joking, laughing about the show. Azuki peeked out. Yoshi, Mashiho, Jihoon were there. They noticed her and called her over.
Yoshi came over and cheerfully pulled her arm: "It's safe Azuki-san, come out!" Jihoon savagely said with his hands on his waist: "Ya, I knew there was something suspicious about you from the moment I first saw you in front of the elevator! I knew it! Your Korean didn't even sound natural!" And they all had a good laugh. Then they told her about the filming, all the jokes and the stunts they did on camera.
And then there was some loud noise outside the door. Asahi walked in, calmly, along with the sources of the noise: the other 8 members. She said hello to them all: Yedam, Doyoung, Hyunsuk, Junkyu, Haruto, Jaehyuk, Jeongwoo and Jeonghwan. They all excitedly yelled hello at Azuki and ran towards her except for Asahi, who was still calmly removing his shoes. Especially Hyunsuk, who was so happy since he knew Azuki was shorter than him. He happily stood next to her, trying to look tall and secretly drew his brothers' attention to that. Yedam and Doyoung were smiling brightly too, but they seemed shy to talk to Azuki. It was like the A-Dam's awkwardness were taking effect on Yedam and Azuki as well, who knew. Doyoung kept calm and only laughed along with his brothers as he told Azuki: "Nuna please don't be overwhelmed, this is the usual!".  Azuki shook her head saying she was fine, but then Jeongwoo started to tease her, making an astonished expression: "Nuna, I'm still amazed at how you got Asabot hyung to confess first. You gotta tell us!!!" He earned a smack in the arm by Junkyu, while Azuki just laughed and shook her head in disbelief.
Asahi finally came over and pat her head in a cool manner, as everyone quieted down because of his appearance: "How have you been? Behaving?"
All the boys mischievously swooned over his action, except for Jihoon, who teased him and mimicked his voice: "HoW hAVe yOu bEeN? bEHaVinG?" And all of them laughed so hard. Junkyu was rolling on the sofa, splitting his sides with the signature quokka laughter, and Haruto joined him with roaring laughters. Asahi blushed so hard and yelled: "Argh!!! I forgot Jihoon is here." Jaehyuk teased him: "Haha, you lovebirds! You're so cute!!" with a big smile on his face, and Mashiho joined in with a duck face, which made Asahi groaned and pulled his hair in terror. Asahi pulled Azuki's hand towards his room, annoyed: "Seriously!" He groaned annoyingly as behind them, they were still laughing and joining Jihoon to mimic him. Hearing Jeonghwan's loud hearty laughs, Azuki couldn't help but turned to smile brightly at the super king cow baby before going inside Asahi's room.
