From pre-debut to debut, they were together alway...
It was in the morning of a holiday, but Asahi was so tired that day. After all the training, his body was too exhausted to enjoy his day off. Everybody went out but he couldn't. But he also wanted to spend time with Azuki. After contemplating, he finally reached for his phone and texted her.
Asahi: Hey what's your plan today? Azuki: I'm just chilling. What's up? Asahi: I'm sorry for asking too much but... Can you come over? My body hurts so much I can't go out... I'm not allowed to bring outsiders in, but I really want you to help me with my songs. Please? Azuki: Does that mean I have to sneak in?? Asahi: Um... yeah... but I'm home alone, everyone went out today. I couldn't go... Azuki: ... Asahi: It's okay if you don't want to... Azuki: ... No it's okay. Should I come now? Asahi: Yes it's safe right now so just come over. The address is .... Azuki: Okayyyy Asahi: Thank you so much!
Azuki arrived quickly, feeling thankful that her dorm was nearby. Asahi came down to fetch her in his casual oversize clothes and a hoodie to cover his face. They just hurriedly went up to Asahi's dorm and inside his room. His housemates (Jihoon, Yoshi, Mashiho) went out to enjoy the holiday.
*** Asahi's room was very simple and clean, it had a peaceful and welcoming vibe that made Azuki felt comfortable.

"Your room is nice! I like it!" Azuki said, looking around. "Thanks! What do you have there?" Asahi said pointing at her hand. Azuki was that kind of person who would always have something nice to eat and share it with others, and that was one of the reasons why she easily became Asahi's best friend. "Oh these?" Azuki held up the big bag of boxes, and continued: "Vitamin supplement!"
She opened the box and took out two supplement packs, giving one to Asahi. "Really?" He only showed a hint of surprise on his poker face, slightly raising his eyebrows. Azuki smiled: "Yessss. You said you were in pain right? Don't overwork yourself!" Asahi scratched his ear shyly while listening to Azuki ranting. He sighed: "Thank you... but I had so much to think about, the debut date announcement, my skills, my diet, my songs..." Then he sat on the edge of his "producer" chair, consuming the supplement gelatin in one mouthful. Azuki sat on the "singer" chair near him and said gently while munching her vitamin pack: "Asahi-kun. You went through a lot and now you're just one step away from debut. Don't think too much, it will burden you." Asahi was hanging his head, looking at the floor, his hands were fidgeting the supplement packaging as Azuki encouraged him. He looked up confidently after hearing her words. "That's right. I'm still improving, I will get better! Now can you listen to my songs?" Azuki nodded excitedly and stood up next to him, looking at the computer screen. Asahi enthusiastically clicked on his computer. He let her listen to 5 of his songs and Azuki shared her opinions. "Well you really know how to diversify the instruments, you don't stick to one style. Also the percussion is really cool! That's one thing I like in your style, even the percussion help deliver the song's emotions. It makes me wanna vibe along. I love how the instruments suit each other as well! The layering of bass, lead, treble, piano and percussion, and the filter. The sound design is very intuitive and natural. All the songs are great! They just need some more mastering and some 3D effect, I mean like more panning and reverb. Well done Asahi!" Asahi was pleased with her comments, she could see the smile growing on his face. He scratched his ear and responded: "Thank you! But they're not perfect. I still have to work more on mastering." He started to make some edits in one of the song and grew quiet. Azuki sat down on her seat and just looked at him being totally engrossed in music. She let him be and sat quietly scanning his room, especially the eccentric drawings and posters on the wall.

Asahi suddenly realized the silence, turned to look at Azuki and said with a shy smile: "Oh sorry, I was too focused!" Azuki shook her head saying it was fine. Asahi called her over: "Wanna listen to a good song?" Azuki came standing next to him, but Asahi got up and moved the "singer" chair closer to his desk for Azuki to have a seat near him. He turned on Skypiea and the green lighting mode. They started bobbing and hyping about songs they recently liked. They also talked about their favorite songs. Asahi said he didn't want to pick and stick with just one song/one genre, while Azuki said recently she had The Beatles, David Bowie and Queen on repeat, which made Asahi pleasantly surprised. He became energetic and loony when talking about music. They had a good time listening and bobbing to different songs. After harmonizing and chanting along to Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody, Azuki suddenly asked: "What is your definitions of great music?" Asahi paused the music and quickly answered with confidence: "Well I really respect songwriters that could deliver feelings in their songs and touch the listeners' heart." Azuki agreed with him completely. He added that great music also needed great sound design, and that was the skill he was most confident with. Suddenly, they heard a door opening outside. Azuki immediately turned her head looking at the direction of the sound in terror. Asahi ran to the door and peeked out to see who it was. He quietly closed it and whispered to Azuki, who was collecting her stuff, ready to leave: "Jihoon came back, he is in his room now. Go go go!" Then Asahi walked inside Jihoon's room and had a small talk with him to make sure he stayed in there, while Azuki tip-toed outside and safely got out the front door without making any noise.
She waited outside the elevator, trying to calm down. Suddenly, the house door opened and out came Jihoon in his sweatpants and hoodie.
AZUKI FROZE.
Jihoon casually waited outside the elevator next to her. He peeked at her skeptically, but Azuki quickly bowed and greeted him without making eye contact: "Hello neighbor!" to clear his doubt. Jihoon awkwardly bowed back: "Hello!".
The elevator made a "ding" sound and they both walked in. Standing next to Jihoon, Azuki almost had a heart attack. He just seemed so cool and serious, unlike Jihoon on Treasure Map.
It was the most intense minute ever in her life.
There was only dead silence.
After walking out of the elevator and out of the building, in the opposite direction Jihoon was going, Azuki started to run for her life.
After that day, Azuki and Asahi agreed not to meet in his dorm again.
