The car slowed down as you passed a bend in the road. You were currently in the middle of nowhere, leaning your arm against the window, gazing blankly out at the rain that pattered against the glass, and at the mountainous view that surrounded you. The weather was stormy and dark rain clouds loomed above, the fog making them blur murkily into the evening sky. You noticed that the road was leading you right between both mountains and soon enough two gigantic walls were looming over either side of the vehicle, giving you nothing to look at other than the bland rocky summits. You switched your attention ahead and attempted to strike up a conversation with your driver.

"Why would a famous school be located between two giant mountains? Do they not want it to be found easily or something? Or has dad instructed you to lead me to my death somewhere far away for his own convenience ?" you joked, laughing dryly to yourself. You waited for a response from the driver, but he simply glanced at you through the mirror and carried on driving. "Fuck you too I guess," you thought to yourself, your mood worsening again at being completely ignored. Being treated like you didn't exist was nothing new in your life, you were just especially pissed off today, so you decided to just sit in a miserable silence for the rest of the trip.

The car finally reached a halt roughly two hours later. You had been wrong earlier in thinking that the school was in the heart of the mountains you were looking at before, because you soon began taking a isolated new road up towards the mountain that had been to your right. The school had simply been on the other side of the peak, so it had been hidden from your view previously. When you had almost reached the top of the mountain, you saw several other cars parked neatly nearby and guessed that other students were beginning to turn up.

Cobbled stairs which led up to the main building were near your car and you watched other kids and their parents hand their suitcases and bags to the staff waiting for them. You felt a brief pang of jealously that they each had someone who cared enough for their well-being to see them off. You ignored it. It was a familiar feeling you knew all too well and the easiest way you could deal with it was to block it out your mind, so you pushed it away and focused on your surroundings.

Your eyes traveled upwards to finally get a good look at the school, and you had to admit that you were a little impressed. The main building looked like it was renovated from a gothic castle, adjustments made so that a school could work within. The towers had sharp roofs which rose proudly, so tall the points of the roofs almost blended into the sky with the similar grey-black colour. The main body of the castle (you presumed it was a castle, you were never very interested in your architectural classes back home) was built with a grey stony hue, and several statues were dotted around the campus, sculpted artfully out of the same stone. Several other buildings were nearby, which you presumed was where the teachers and staff lived, but you could not see them as visibly because they were obscured by tall trees that began near the school and stretched out into a thick forest that trickled down the mountain face. The school's banners were hung above the huge wooden doors, and you squinted to make out the name on the silky material.

"KRIMIA ACADEMY OF DECORUM"

You fought the urge to laugh. You father had paid for you to be sent thousands of miles away for tuition in the middle of nowhere with a bunch of nobodies, just to be taught fucking manners.
