Tia

We've officially been in Detroit for a week now, and everything has been going downhill. I don't know what it is, but I don't think this relationship between me and August is going to work out.

Lately everything he said or if I said something, the whole thing would turn it into a argument. Well from his POV anyway. Like yesterday, he hit me with "Tia go out and get me something to eat, you don't ever do nothing anyway"

I let it go because that was his 4th strike, as soon as he gets to 6... Please believe it's going down.

As of now, I'm currently sitting on a stool in the hotel lobby, drinking coffee praying that it cheers me up. I've only gotten 5 whole hours of sleep, all together through the 3 days we've been here. Meanwhile Aug's sleeping like a newborn kid. Something's bugging me and I've yet to find out what it is. Maybe it's unhappiness, maybe it's because I've been too happy. I don't know, I'm still not sure.

Cutting me out my thoughts my phone rung

"Hello"

"Guh' where you at you had me sced' "

Rolling my eyes I replied "Aug, I'm where I've been every morning since we've been here"

It's true I do come and get coffee every morning

"Lose the attitude and make yaself back to room" he said, which was followed by the noise of disconnection

Did he just hang up on me

Just to be me, I sat here I don't know who he thinks I am, but I don't take orders

Shortly after, and Aug being Aug he texted me

Augggyyy: what I say?

Me: I don't know, I wasn't listening

Augggyyy: quit nah, don't start nothin

Lordy, he even texts in an accent

Nonetheless, I found myself at the elevator, and up to the room

Opening the door, his back was turned to me so I took it as a chance to sneak up on him

"BOO"

"Gal, what the world!"

"Come on Aug, you couldn't even play scared for just this one time?"

"Nope" he replied with the straightest face ever

"Gosssshh you always have to be so serious"

"But you love the seriousness don't you?"

I stayed quiet

"Don't you?" He repeated

Again, silence

He suddenly turned serious "do you even love me T?"

I kept quiet, whilst putting my head down

"Oh so it's like that now Tia?" He asked in disbelief

"TALK, Don't you see I'm talkin to you ma"

"Lately, things ain't been the same Aug" I finally spoke up realizing just what he was doing

"Nooo please don't leave, we can work on us" I begged as he began to pack his clothes

"I tried, ma I really did try to be in faithful to you, nah you got me all the way in Detroit just to do what?" He paused

"To play me for a fool?"
