I groaned and got up sitting up on the headboard

"Aug get up, we gotta get dressed"

He twisted and turned but fell back to sleep, he was not a morning person

I shook him for a finale time

"August  get up"

"what time is it"

"5 get up"

He groaned and got up and went into the bath room with me followed behind him.. we did our morning routine.

I dressed In some joggers, a Last kings hoodie, and my nike slides. I wanted to be comfortable for the long ride to Detroit

"August, you ready ?"

"Yeah"

I nodded and went into Tiana's room to see her dressed and on her phone

"We ready to go"

"OK put y'all suitcases In the car and imma be out there, I got go get the snacks"

I went back into my room and informed august to put our suitcases in the car and I grabbed my charger,phone, purse and earbuds the headed out the door behind August.

I hopped in the passenger seat of my car and august got in the drivers seat, I didn't feel like driving so he offered..

Minutes later Tiana came out the house with the snacks and her things and got into her car, we were following behind her.

----------8 long hours later----------

  We pulled up to the Hampton's Hotel and got our bags... I was tired as hell, even tho I took little naps during the ride... I know August was tired because he did most of the driving, we took turns but I ended up falling asleep.

"Bitch im tired, we in two different rooms because I know how you and Aug get"

I chuckled "What's that supposed to mean"

"Tia, you and I both know what that mean" August interrupted

I shook my head and followed Tiana to August's and I room
217, the door read

"I'm down the hall in room 222 if y'all need me" Tiana said before heading to her hotel room

I got the key and unlocked the room door. It was beautiful, Marble counters, white carpet, a bar.

"This right chea nice"

" come on let's go check out our room"

I lead the way to our room

"Damnnn y'all got money"

I laughed at August's reaction to our room, it was nice, kinda reminded me of our guest room at home.

"Now let's see how it feels" I said before plopping on the king sized bed

It  almost felt like mine at home

"I'm tired as hell mane"

"Come lay down with me"

He stripped down into his boxers and joined me in the bed.

"Detroit look nice, it aint as bad as you said"
