I went inside a medium sized room that read "Front Office" on it in bold letters. It was a middle aged hispanic woman sitting at the front desk talking on the phone.
She held up one finger telling me to hold on. She finished up her conversation & then directed her attention to me.
The lady- What do you need ?
Tia-Umm I'm a new student here and I need go know where I gotta go.
The lady-Can I get a name please
Tia-Tia Smith,12th grade
The lady-okay you are going to first block which is Social Studies.
Tia-Where is that ?
The lady- Down the hall to the right next to the boys bathroom,his name is Mr.Flight.It's written on the door.
Tia-Okay
I exited the office&found the classroom........
I walked in and everyone turned their attention to me. Uhhh I feel so AKWARD.I walked to the teacher and told him my name.
Mr.Flight-Everyone this is Tia,she is a new student her. You can sit where ever you like.
I sat in the back next to a light skinned boy with tattoos,a short curly hair cut. He was a fine ass dude.

Tia-Haha Very funny. But I'll just call you August
August-Haha I was just kidding ma, So where you from

August-I've heard of Detroit so whats it like
Tia-It aint the best place to live but It's straight I guess

Tia- Well not the city but they got some cool as people down there

Tia- Time to go, Can you show me your next block?

I handed him my schedule so he could tell me my next block
August-Lucky you. Me and you got all the same classes. Come on we got lunch
I follwed him to the lunch room.
Tia-Where we seating ?
August-Come one let's get our lunch first
I followed him to the lunch line.
August-Don't get no meatloaf , That shit is nasty ass hell.
Tia-Well what should I get.

Tia-Yeah
August-Well go sit at that table over there by the tv. I'll order for you
I reached in my pocket and grabbed my wallet
August-What you doing girl
Tia-Getting my wallet so I can pay
August-Nahh When you with me you aint gone ever have to pay for nothing.
I blushed, I put my head down so he couldn't see me.
He lifted my head up with his pointer finger.
August-You aint gotta be shy round me.
I just smiled and turned around and went to the table August told me to go to. It was two girls and one boy sitting over there.
I sat down and everybody at that table started staring at me .
Tia-Uhh My name is Tia, I'm August's friend
??- Oh hey girl, My name Harmony
??-I'm Trey
???- China, she said with a attitude
Tia-Hey everybody, nice to meet yall.
That's when August came over with some hot wings, a sandwich, and two drinks.
He gave me the hot wings and a drink.

I finished up my food and then got up so I can empty my tray.
August-I got it
China-She can get it herself
I handed my tray to him and he went to go empty it.I turnt to China and smirked.

"Ayee Tia! " I turned around and saw August walkin to me .
"Huh? "
"Gimme your number" I handed him my phone and he handed me his phone and we exchanged numbers.
Tia-I gotta go My sister here
August gave me a hug, nothing major, just as friendly hug
"Don't forget, be ready at six"
He yelled to me as I got into the car
