Tanaka x reader (angst)

(Tanaka's POV)

I walk into class, and immediately put my head on my desk. "Someone's tired," Noya said, patting me on the back.

"Yeah, no shit. Saeko wouldn't shut up," I say as I slowly close my eyes. "Cheer up, man! We're having a sleepover tonight anyways, so you don't have to deal with that," He said. I smile and look up. "I guess you're right," As soon as I said that my nemesis, (Y/n) sat right next to me.

You have GOT to be kidding. "Hey, can you like, sit somewhere else? We don't want you here," I say in a rather harsh tone. They mummbled sorry, and then went to sit somewhere else.

This is odd. Usually they would back talk, and annoy the living shit outta me, never moving. Maybe they finally figured out who the boss was.

"Goodmorning class, everyone take your seats. (Y/n) dear, I'm sorry about your loss. If you need to talk to me at any time today, you can," The teacher says. (Y/n) just nodded their head.

"Loss? What did she lose? Her virginity?" A guy named Haru said. Everyone laughed, even me. "May I use the restroom, please?" They said.

"Awwe is someone gonna cry?" I said as I mocked them. "Waa waa I'm so brocken... my fish died, so I'm gonna kill myself," Everyone laughed, but the teacher wasn't happy.

"TANAKA GO TO THE PRINCIPLE WITH THAT BEHAIVIOR, I DARE YOU. JUST WAIT TILL I KICK YOU FROM ALL YOUR VOLLEYBALL GAMES," She yelled. I shut up instantly.

"Yes, you may sweety. Come back any time," As soon as those words left her mouth, (Y/n) was gone.

I went too far... they're never gonna love me now... I thought. Being in love is hard.

"You will be kicked from club activities for a week. You may go,"

The principle said, as he escorted me to the front door. "I told your team captain about this, and he is all but thrilled. You may see him now for your punishment,"

He said. I walked away without a single world, now trying to find Daichi. I don't even know what him or the team will say.. Especially Kiyoko.

"Hold it and turn around," I hear behind me. It was obviously Daichi, so I turned around.

"Listen here, Tanaka. What you said and did today is unforgivable. You should never say those kinds of things to anyone. Especially when they just lost someone,"

"Depends on who they lost," I said, being snarky. "If you reall want to know, they lossed their best friend to suicide. So you can see why what you said, really stung,"

I go wide eyed. How was I supposed to know that! I thought. I just looked away from him in emberrassment. Noya looked up for a second, before turning back to me with worried eyes.

"Tanaka, they're on the roof," I look up to see if he was lying or not... he wasn't. I immidiately ran up to the roof before they could do anything.

"(Y/N) DON'T DO IT," Suga yelled, but the didn't listen. They put one foot over the edge and smiled. "I love you, Tanaka," They said before falling... well almost. I caught them before.

"What the hell do you think you're doing, dumbass?!" I yelled while pulling them up from the roof. "I'm making you happy. This is what you want, isn't it?"

"NO ARE YOU CRAZY?! I LOVE YOU, AND I WANNA BE WITH YOU SO WHY ARE YOU TRYING TO DO SOMETHING THAT WILL MAKE ME UNHAPPY?!"

They freeze. "You... love.. me? Don't make me laugh. You hate me. It's obvious," They say. "Do you want me to prove it to you?!" I said as I pulled them up completely, and kissed them gently.

It was a very nice kiss. Our lips instantly moved in sink. Their hands were in my hair, and min were on their waist. We pull away after a while.

I hug them tightly. "Please don't EVER think of doing something like this again," I say. They hug back. "I won't now that I have you,"
