(Nishinoya pov) 'Today's the day I tell them how I feel' I thought as I ran down the hall. It was (Y/n)'s birthday and I wanted to surprise them. I've had a crush on them for a while now, so I though today was the best day to tell them.
As I put the note in the locker and head to the bridge, I got stopped by Asahi. He knew exactly what I was doing and asked if I needed help preparing it. I said no and told him to tell daichi that I would be a little late to practice. "Okay then. Goodbye noya." He says as he walks away.
(Few minutes later) I was waiting by the tree for about 5 minutes. It wasn't time yet, and I got here faster than I thought I would.
A few minutes passed and I was still waiting. 'They were supposed to be here 3 minutes ago. It's fine maybe they got held back in class for something.' I thought as I played with my fingers. (Few minutes later)
I lost hope that they would even come at this point. Maybe they didn't check the locker before going home. I was about to leave when I heard someone calling my name.
(Your pov) It was my birthday today and I was super excited! My whole class made a party for me which kept me away from the volleyball team for a while. As I open my locker, I see a note fly out. It was from... NOYA?! I was a little surprised. He never writes to me in letters.
It reads: "Hey (Y/n)! I just wanted to write you a little letter. I know it's your birthday so I prepared something for you! Meet me at the bridge. Please be there! :) Sincerely, Nishinoya"
'His writing classes have paid off." I chuckle as I put the note to my chest. 'I should probably go.'
(Few minutes later)
As I was running as fast as I can to the bridge, I notice him starting to leave. 'How long did I keep him waiting?!' I thought. I wasn't close to the bridge and I didn't think I would make it so I yelled out his name. "Noya!!! Wait!!"
(Nishinoya pov) "Noya!!! Wait!!" I heard, as I was walking away. I heard the voice and instantly knew who it was. I turned around with a huge smile on my face. "You kept me waiting!"
(Y/n) was hunched over and trying to catch their breath. "Sorry..... my class made a party for me so I was a little late." They said. I only chuckled and hugged them. "Anyway I got you a present! Happy birthday!" I said as I grab the box from my pocket and give it to them.
They took it with a smile. As they were opening it I started to get nervous. 'What if they don't like it?'
(Your pov) I opened the gift and looked at it. It was a necklace. Not only one, but two. It had a heart with a key. Noya then takes He one with the heart. "I love it! Just why did you take the heart?" I ask. "Because now you have the key to my heart!" (What it looks like)

He says with a huge smile. I blush HARD. This man just said that.... I didn't even know what to think. So I didn't. I ran into his arms and kissed him. He kissed back after a few seconds.
"I love you so much, you know that?" Noya said. I smiled as wide as ever. "I love you too Noya!" He smiles and actually almost cried. "Does that mean I can call you mine?" He asks. "Yes Noya. I'm all yours."
