❝I'm a good person but don't give me a reason to show you my evil side❞
Siah typed her notes on Political Affiliation, furrowing her eyes as she watched this car drive by.
She realized not to long ago that not only was the justice system cruel and unfair they were endorsing other parties, although Siah tried to see the better half of things, it was hard to if they kept doing stupid shit.
Her aunt had yet to find out about the incident that occurred at school, and Siah was definitely not going back.
When Siah saw the school calling her aunt's phone yesterday, she blocked the number with the quickness before going about her day.
She threw her bag over her shoulder before making her way towards the library, she worked there part-time and she was picking up her check today.
She knew for a fact that her aunt had got rid of the tarot cards because she couldn't find them yesterday when she went looking for them so she was going to buy her some more along with some snacks.
Siah entered the library noticing Rhonda was on her shift today, "Here to pick up your check?" Rhonda asked as she saw Siah.
I don't just randomly show up so what the fuck do you think, Siah wanted to say but she held her tongue.
Rhonda stood at 5'7, slim waist with dark brown eyes, she couldn't help but look at Siah with jealousy, handing her the check as Siah signed these papers.
"Bye Siah." She said watching as the girl walked off, her braids swinging with motion.
Sighing as she opened of the check with $385.15, her aunt always thought she should get payed more and then some.
Siah looks at the time realizing it was almost time for school to end, texting her aunt that she was taking the bus before making her way to the bus station pushing her braids to the back as she waited patiently.
Watching as the bus came around the corner, she immediately gathers her things getting on not before glancing back at the library. She felt like this would be the last time she saw it, shrugging off that feeling she takes a seat.
As the bus drops her off at the corner her street listening to Billie Eilish Lovely as she rounds that street to her house noticing a police car outside and an unfamiliar car.
Furrowing her eyebrows Siah snatches her headphones out stuffing them in her bag before getting to the door and walking in seeing her aunt with Jameson next to her looking at her personal journal with a police officer and her principal.
"Siah what happened yesterday?" Her aunt whispered eyes watering.
"Nothing." She says averting her eyes, she had never seen her aunt this way, she knew she expected a lot out of her and disappointing her was the last thing she wanted to do cause her aunt believed in her unlike everyone else.
