Nazan rinsed his face after he'd brushed his teeth, his phone pinged he glanced over seeing Niyana had texted him causing him to clench his jaw.
"Bitch lucky my plan isn't finished yet "Naz spoke with a dark smirk on his face.
"Tired faking with this bitch." Naz said shaking his head.
Nazan slipped into his shoes after throwing on his bape hoodie before taking his medicine and heading downstairs.
"Hey baby." His mother greeted and he gave her a dry smile not in the mood.
Siah glanced at him as he grabbed a bottle of water out the fridge.
"So, the championships right around the corner?" His father started as he drunk his coffee.
"Yea, I'm just ready to get it over with, supposed to be scouts there."
Nazan had been drained the past couple of days, he didn't know if it was because of school or that his doctor had upped his dosage of Lorazepam.
"Ight I'm finna head out." Nazan spoke after wrapping up his food and leaving out the house.
"Nazan." Siah yelled as she trailed after him.
He halted his steps at his car, and turned to look at his younger sister who had a worried look in her eyes.
"Naz, If you ever need to talk, just know I'm here for you, I know I haven't been as understanding or but I'm here for you."
"Ya, I hear ya." Nazan responds with a nod.
His mind had been everywhere and nowhere, especially with graduation around.
Siah's usually attitude towards him was always negative and to see her
3 years ago.
Carmen bit her lip with uncertainty after taking the money from Selah even when she said she wouldn't but she had to buy Nazan some more medicine or his condition would worsen.
"Now you take care of yourself." Selah spoke pecking her daughter in law's cheek before leaving out the hospital.
"Nazan." she called softly to her son who stared blankly into space. His nose twitched as his mind filled with thoughts of how to help his sister.
"Baby did you take your medicine today?" she asked her son who didn't respond or look her way.
Why did she do it? was the only thought he had.
Did she want to escape the voices to gain peace? was the only conclusion he could come up with at the time.
Time had passed since his sister left, it felt like months for Nazan when it'd only been a year.
Nazan's gaze was blank as he brushed his teeth before washing his face.
He threw on a random hoodie before sliding into his Ralph Lauren jeans, " Naz you ready, ma finna leave us." He heard his younger brother Nolan speak through the door.
