- Well, that's pretty fucking good.

Hearing those words, which definitely didn't belong to Kevin, I immediately jumped up, hitting the boy with my head on his chin. I didn't know what time it was or who had entered my room. What I did know was that I had slept the entire night with the young man while being snuggled into his thick, warm fur. It was one of the more enjoyable nights I had the opportunity to sleep. Just the prospect of being cuddled by a large and strong wolf was extremely satisfying. But nothing lasts forever, not even this overture, barely a fragment of the semblance that we weren't meant to be half-brothers. For that one night, I buried that prospect deep underground only to return brutally to the reality of that reality in the morning. To return very brutally.

Kevin woke up as well and jumped in place as well, not letting me out of the hug he had given me the night before. I think he groaned slightly when I bumped my head against his chin. He probably had to bite his tongue as a result. However, both he and I knew that this was the least of our worries at the moment. The intruder who had broken into my room and caught us seemed extremely nervous. I was afraid to look in the direction of the door where the voice had come from. I could see the look of horror and embarrassment painted on Kevin's face. Since I woke up simultaneously with hearing the voice, I could not recognize who it belonged to. I knew, however, that it was a female voice. The list of suspects clarified as follows: "Apolonia, Luna, Aurelia, Catleyn, Pyra or Myra". However, since maids never entered my room without knocking, I immediately crossed them out of my suspicions. Apolonia and Catleyn did not swear, so that left only Luna and Aurelia. It was sort of a comfort in an already hopeless situation. Finally, I looked around.

Aurelia stood in the room. The teenager looked like she was about to explode with anger. I don't know whether I should start laughing or crying about it.

- Aurelia, it's not what you think. - Said a panicked Kevin, continuing to hold me in his arms. So I decided it was high time to free myself from his embrace, so I carefully slid out.

- I see. - Said the teenager dryly. Evidently she was not convinced by her cousin's explanation. - Max just takes whatever he wants.

- I'm sorry? - My blood pressure just spiked. - What are you doing here anyway? Don't you know to knock on doors?

- I don't give a shit. - She hissed. - I went to Kevin, but he wasn't in the room. And since I apparently have good intuition, I knew where to go.

- You're imagining too much. - I said exasperated. Not knowing why, my courage level suddenly jumped. The most sensible thing to do would have been to try to calm the teenager down like Kevin tried to do. I, however, probably started to stick a figuratively speaking stick in an anthill. - We were just cuddling, great wonders. We even slept with our clothes on. - I said demonstratively uncovering the comforter to demonstrate to the teen that nothing had happened.

To my surprise, it turned out that Kevin slept in his boxers. He went to bed in his pants and woke up in his boxers. I, on the other hand, was dressed in loose sweatpants... Well it didn't look so good. The sweatpants could be taken off and put on with basically a flick of the wrist. Just like Kevin's boxers and T-shirt, which instantly turned red in the face. Still, it didn't have to mean anything, for the rest the truth was what I told the girl. I have nothing to be afraid of. I guess.

- I took my pants off at night because it was uncomfortable. - Said the wolf quietly.

- Yeah. - Aurelia replied. - Let's sum up the situation. You and Max are about to become a happy, complete family. Kevin will have a new mom, and Max will even have two dads. There's a fucking choice. - At this point the girl started aggressively scrubbing her teeth against her teeth. - Pretty much, you have each other. I leave aside the fact that what you are doing is sick and retarded. Everybody's fucking going to have sex with everybody else, but what about me? What's left for me? Luna? Apolonia? Thanks a lot.
