The blade was about to reach the Roy's neck when Free's arm was suddenly paralyzed. It was surrounded by a pink/purple color. Everyone looked to find Christina with her magic scepter.

"Chris?" said Free.

"I'm sorry." said Chris to the blonde, "But I can't let you kill that monarch. It's against the rules. Free, why can't you ever do that?" She sighed, "You defy all the rules, you kidnap a prince, you want to kill a king. What is going through your head?!"

"You can't understand."

"Yes, I can, so go on, tell me."

"I love him!"

"I already know that, Free but... What's the reason for you to want to kill his father? When everyone finds out, they'll all try to kill you to make you pay!"

"I don't care what anyone else will think. Calling me a monster, they've been doing that for centuries already. I'll just kill the Roy to make him pay for what he did to Lui."

"Haha, boy." said the Roy to Free, "You shouldn't worry about that runt. You should worry, for yourself because when I'm no longer trapped, I'm just going to kill you or order someone to kill you."

"No, Free is not going to die. No one will, you hear me!" shouted Lui.

"Lui, stay still." said Valt trying to keep him in place, since Lui was still trying to escape. Shu too had to put more force into it.

"You are a fool to love my son." said the Roy, "He is worthless. You are sacrificing your life for a bum."

"You are the fool. Your son is not a mere person who can be forgotten like that. And I know he's already worth a lot more than you."

"grr, how insufferable you are!" He pulled out a sword and made a cut on Free's arm. The latter pulled away and looked at the streak of blood that was flowing. His skin immediately regenerated and closed up.

"Master." said a wounded general as he came towards the Roy, "How can we kill something that heals itself!?"

"I'll stop it myself." said Chris, "I think I have a score to settle and it's better for the kingdom if the monster is out of action."

"Are you on our side then?"

"Yes, your majesty. I am a member of the council of magicians, the one who protects the kingdom in times of need. And I will not disobey the rules. I will be loyal to you."

"Fine, capture him. I don't want to kill him right now."

"Fine." She raised her scepter in the air and the tip of it glowed.

"Chris, what are you doing?" asked Free. He didn't understand why her friend wanted to help her enemy.

"You know, my friend. It always hurts when the person you love calls you 'friend'. I've always loved you, Free, but you... You never saw me as a girlfriend! You always left me in your Friendzone. And then, here you are telling me that you love someone else. How could I react? It's true that I was happy for you, but part of me can't accept it. You will pay for your betrayal of me. "

"I didn't know you had his feelings towards me. Why didn't you ever tell me? "

"Because I knew you would refuse me."

"That's true, you're right. But you don't need to have so much hate."

"I'll do what I want." She threw a ball of energy at Free. This one didn't move but something came between him and Christina's magic.

It was the knife that Lui had thrown because he had managed to free himself. He felt reassured that he had had so much training.

Free looked at Lui who was going towards him and hugged him. "Stop making so much resistance, I don't want any deaths, you understand? Maybe it's best that you surrender."

"Are you serious?" asked Free, looking into his boyfriend's eyes. "I won't let them take you from me."

"I'll still be yours but... Maybe we'll work something out... (?)"

"No, we can't do that. They'll never leave us alone while I'm alive."

"I won't let them kill you."

"Come on, son. You're not going to go against us, are you?" said his father, "I don't think anyone here wants you dead."

"Yes, you do, Father. You've always hurt me, so it wouldn't surprise me if you wanted to kill me."

"Haa, people today. I think you still lack education, my son. We'll sort it all out at the palace. Soldiers, madam magician, do your work."

They nodded and looked toward the group.

"Free..."

The blond looked at the human next to him and smiled gently to reassure him. He took off his mask and looked into his eyes. He stroked his cheek, which was starting to get wet. "You'll be fine, I think. Valt should always be there for you, to protect you, I hope."

"But you? What are they going to do to you?"

"I don't know, but I want you to stay safe and not do anything stupid, okay?"

Lui nodded, thinking otherwise.

"Come on, stop the chatter. We need to get back to the castle." said the Roy.

Lui looked to his father and then one last time to Free. They kissed one last time and then Lui pulled away. He looked at him sadly and then left for the escort.

There was a white horse, which was a sign of royalty (okay, I don't know that). Lui got on and soldiers stood on either side.

Valt and Shu knew what was coming. Valt whispered something to Shu and he left. The rookie then went to the horses and climbed up. Some of the soldiers looked at him. "I know, I'm still alive but look ahead! "The men jumped up and did as Valt said.

Free was taken away with Christina's help. He was watched in a cart that was there. Everything was silent. No one dared to speak.

Valt, on his horse, went near Lui. The Roy was all in front and the two rookies a little behind. "Lui, are you all right?"

The flaming boy looked at him, "Wow, I'm fine." said Lui sarcastically. Valt simply looked at him. "you dumbass, of course you're not okay! "he then huffed.

Valt knew it was hard but he still hoped that the situation would change.

The road was bumpy but everything was fine. When they entered the walls of the capital, the people saw the prince and cheered. They were all happy that the heir was alive. The big doors closed and nobody noticed the shadow that had entered.

Free was taken to the prisons, to the dungeon.

Some time later...

"You are a useless child!" shouted the king to his son, hitting him. He was obviously angry, who couldn't be? His son loves a monster and he refused to come.

"Shut up! It's your fault we're in this situation!" shouted Lui at him. "You shouldn't have sent me there then!"

Le Roy slapped him again and the white dragon fell to the ground so furious was his father. He took him by the collar and shouted at him. "Listen, young man, you don't talk to me like that, is that clear?! I don't care if all those jerks want you, you're not getting it from me! Even if you are my son, that doesn't mean I care about you!"

"Thanks but I already knew that!"

"What did you tell that monster, huh?! For him to know so much about both of our relationships! "

"It's none of your business!"

"Of course it is! You owe me total obedience!"

"Well, you have a rebellious child who won't listen to you!"

"You-!"

"Majesty." said Valt as he entered and interrupted the discussion. He looked at the two royals, one of whom had a position of superiority over the other. "A general tells me to tell you that the monster has just been transferred to the dungeon."

"Well, I'll go see him. You." he said pointing to Lui, "You will go to your room immediately. The servants will take care of you for the rest of the evening."

Lui rolled his eyes and left. Roy left as well. Valt looked both ways and decided to follow Lui.
