Severus Pov.

Severus as sent Ozzy off to August. He have thought on what to do with Scarlet, but he did not know anymore. She was under 18 and someone need to take custody over her, and he knew he had to contact Glinda Natas, her mother. Scarlet will not to be pleased about this.

Scarlet's mom was a Death Eater, and Severus knew she would not want anything to do with a Death Eater.

Severus now stood on the edge of the forbidden forest. Waiting for Glinda to show up. They have spoken many times before, but have never talked about Scarlet. She did not want that, Glinda miss Scarlet too much to talk about her. She knew, being a Death Eater have a price, and if stay in contact with Scarlet's dad and her. Dark Lord will go after them; therefore, she left Scarlet and her dad. To safe them, but they did not know about this.

"Severus, Long time." Glinda voice could be hear behind Severus.

He turn around and looks at her. The same eyes as Scarlet. She was wearing a black dress, her hair hanging lose over her shoulders. She was wearing a silver necklace, shape like a heart. It looks like it could be open. "Yes, indeed." Severus spoke. Scarlet have the same further as her mother, but have the same hair color as her father. "It indeed have."

"What can I do?" She asks him, giving him a friendly smile. For someone to be a Death Eater and was this friendly was rare to see.

"Alatar has pass away." Severus starts while looking down on his hands, adjusting his jacket. He was trying not to showing any reaction, but Glinda did not.

She looks shock, her mouth wide open. A single tear shows itself on her cheeks. Even after all this time, she still was in love with Scarlet's father. "When?" She demands an answer as she walks closer.

"Yesterday. He was sick for a very long time, and when Scarlet started at Hogwarts, he was getting better. However, the cancer was still there." Severus answer Glinda, now looking at her.

"What about Scarlet?" She asks, looking concerns on what will happen to her.

Severus sighs dropping his eyes on the ground. "That was why I contacted you. I don't know what to do with her, and I don't know what is best for her." Severus answer, truthfully as he walks over to a bench Hagrid as place when he started on Hogwarts.

Glinda follows and sit beside him. Still shock over Alatar was dead. She stills loves him, and wish she had never been involved with this. However, she had a debate to pay. "What do you want to do with her?"

"I don't know. You know she do not want to have anything to do with a Death Eater, and she does not know I am. However, she need to speak to you. She needs to know the truth about you. That you did not become a member because of you know who, but because you did not have a choice. Please, I can't be there forever for Scarlet, you know that." Glinda knew the truth about Severus and Dumbledore plan, and she supports this. She want the man that have made her to whom she was today, gone, forever.

"But I don't think she is ready, and what if the Dark lord finds out. I don't want the same fate to her, as I got." She fear what will happen, if the Dark Lord finds out about her. She had hide Scarlet as much she could and it was working. She hates what Narcissa and Lucius have done, have invite their son to become a Death Eater. Even though Glinda and Narcissa are best friends since they were went to Hogwart together, it still wasn't the best idea they had done. He was too young to make that decision himself; of course, she did not know the whole story, but still, it was so wrong of them.

She took off her necklace and open it to show, a picture of Scarlet when she was little and Alatar. Glinda was standing next to Alatar, giving him a kiss on the cheeks, while he was smiling. It was that time when he didn't have the cancer. Scarlet was hold by Glinda, as she looks up at her mother. Even back then, Scarlet looks like her mother. These two pictures was the only thing left from Alatar and Scarlet. Anything else she needed to throw away, so the Dark Lord would not find them.
