"Meet me outside by the lake." Scarlet reads. A Eurasian Eagle Owl had just landed on her window, with a letter in its mouth that Scarlet have taken. She knew it was Malfoy's owl, because he was the only one at the school with that big of an owl.

Scarlet smiles as she have read the letter. It was weekend so everyone was at Hogsmeade Village. The first snow had been laid the day before, and was now covering the school and the village. Scarlet did not want to go to the Hogsmeade because she did not know the town, and Fred and George was not going. They both was a little busy with their little business they have set up there. Therefore, she stay behind, and wait for when they were done so they could go together.

Scarlet quickly took on her coat. A warm coat that she had got from her father. He knew that England was a different temperature then France. Therefore, he bought the coat to keep her warm.

She made her way outside of the bedroom and school and was on her way to the lake. If she knew him. It was by the lake where a tree was hanging its branches and leaves.

The girl hurry down to the tree, and find Malfoy sitting under the tree, with a blanket underneath him. The snow could not get under the trees because the branches act like it was a wall. She saw him sitting there, one of his knees bent, the other laying on the ground. One of his hands on the bent knees the other in his lap. He was looking out on the lake, listening to the water, and the birds that flys around. Making the sound comfortable.

Scarlet slowly made her way over to him, removing some of the branches so she could get through.

Malfoy hears the sound of the branches, and looks towards the sound. Meeting eyes with Scarlet's green ones.

He smiles at the sight of her. She made her way over to him and sat down beside him. "Hey." She smiles.

He smiles, with all of his heart. "Hey." He looks at her, every details she had on her face. "How'd you sleep?" His eyes move to hers hands then meet her eyes again. It was only nine o'clock, so she was almost just have woken up.

"Could have been better." She whisper. "What about you?"

"It was okay." He lean back, and lay down on the blanket. She looks down on him and smile.

His eyes was close, his lips was still in a smile. His hands underneath his head. He looks so peaceful. Scarlet follows him and lays next to him. She looks at the top of the tree, her hands laying on hers stomach, her lips also smiling.

"How come you aren't at the village?" Malfoy asks, opening his eyes and looks at her.

She move her glance back to him. "Fred and George, was already there, but they wouldn't be walking around because they are starting their business so they didn't have time." She answer his curious questions. "What about you?" She asks.

He close his eyes. "The village have never been something for me." He answer.

She smiles. "So if I were to go, will you go with me?" She asks, making her brows touching, looking questionable at him.

He sighs. "Scarlet, you are forgetting people can't see us together." He sat up to look at her. They have this talk before, and of course, she forgot. Scarlet eyes move away from his and up to the tree. "They won't understand, and your uncle won't be pleased with this." He point out, he have never told her the story of him and her uncle talk.

Her eyes moves to his. "You never told me why he wouldn't be please. He was a Slytherin back in his day. So won't it make sense he would love for me to find a Slytherin?" She asks.

He shakes his head. "He want you to find someone at your own house. Crossing between houses are not all teacher happy about. Especially us two. Gryffindor and Slytherin are not the-" he did not have time to say more, before Scarlet cut him off.
