I jolted up and awake, a bright light above me shone it's uncomfortable glow around the whole room. It was blank. I was in a white room, the only furniture was where I was laying and a white desk. I couldn't hear a thing, I couldn't remember a thing. What the hell is going on? I thought to myself and then I remembered: my mask.
My mask had...

I looked down to where I was and how I couldn't stand, and I saw restrains shackled to my wrists. A sickening clicking was coming from it as I looked around. I looked around the room again and then up, above where I was laying was a screen on the roof. A slow buzzing was emitting from it and for some reason it made me dizzy. Words flashed up in blue:

NAME: AR-W4
SPECIES: HUMAN
DANGER: XXX
HIBRID HUMAN CAN ABSORB ATTACKS, ENHANCED DURABILITY, ENHANCED STRENGTH. NOT YET CHIPPED. NOT YET FILLED.

What the hell? 'Not yet chipped'? 'Enhanced durability'? Who do they think I am, a superhero? I don't know what the hell that means but I'm just pulling at the restraints, pulling and pulling as a red noise fills my ears. It was that same red noise I had when getting in the bus. Thinking bout stuff. It's like it's another person, calling out, calling out calling out...

Calling out a deathly-

No. I had to fight against this sound, this red this madness. I'm not mad, I'm normal I just want to get on with my life I don't understand anything anymore... everything's changed so quickly...

And before I knew it, the metal restrains had broken and I was free. I got up, touching my face. My mask was back on. For that one moment where it had came off, where I had touched my face, the skin on my face. I almost liked it? Not having a mask, being free.

I didn't want to focus on my thoughts, I could do that after I get home. I saw my clothes and scooped em up under the desk, and tied them like a satchel around my waist. I looked at the desk and moved towards it. On it I found tools. They made my stomach lurch. They were like scalpels, syringes, horrible tools to do horrible things. And even though I knew that these things had hurt so many people, I grabbed a small hammer like tool and put it in the pocket of the flimsy hospital gown I was wearing.

I looked around once more, only realising that great, I'm trapped in here. My communicator's gone, my keys are gone. My wallet, my watch, my gloves.

Noticing now, I didn't have my gloves on. Everybody wore gloves, the President told us that it was another thing that we had to hide from the Mynx. Obviously a lie, because our ears are showing, so would be our arms if somebody wore a T-shirt.

And just while I was lost in thought the sealed door swung open and some random guy in a hazmat suit strode in. Just when they noticed I was outta that chair thing, I threw the small hammer at his face and he fell over unconscious. Wowzers that must of been a hard hit.

I contemplated over hiding the body and stealing the suit, and I chose to shackle the unconscious body up and pretend it to be whoever this random person was. As I pulled the hazmat suit on, it was quite big, but I hoped I could get way with it. I picked up the hammer and put it in this flimsy belt and the clothes that I had tied around my waist were able to pad out the clothes a bit more.

I slipped outta the room and began to walk away staring forwards and hoping to find an exit. But then as I walked further on, I saw this conveyor belt where people were talking off their suits, going through this scanner and then using a fob card to get through the door. I slipped to the side and searched around my belt for a card, and sure enough there was one.

The person who I had hit in the head with the hammer was called 'JO-E3' probably nicknamed Joe. I went through a small door, looked around if it was empty and then began to quickly take off the hazmat suit in the secluded place. I made sure I had everything I needed, I opened the door
And I began to run.
