" Why have you been waking up so early lately?" I said quietly as I picked up Ryan from his crip, pressing a good morning kiss to his cheek. He answered by laying his head in the crock of my neck, thump finding his way into his mouth. he was so warm, and his clinging to me after just waking up is something I will never get tired of.

I ran my hand gently through his hair, pushing it away from his eyes, maybe we'll need to get him a haircut soon, " You just want to cuddle mama? hmm?" I hummed as I walked out of his room and into the living room, Marshall spent the night at Jayden's, and Vinnie was still asleep.

I sat on the couch with him laying on my chest, his cheek swollen from sleep, lips pouting around his finger, and his chest rising and falling with every breath, I don't know if every mom feels the same, but Ryan's breathing makes me feel so peaceful, Like I did something good with having him here healthy happy, after all that we've been through.

" Mama, eat pease," He finally sat up in my lap and patted my chest. looking up at me with doe eyes, small teeth peeking out of his mouth as he spoke.

" And who Am I to deny my baby?" I giggled giving his forehead another kiss before standing up and propping him on my hip, " This is the fourth time you woke up hungry, maybe we should start giving you a snack before bed." He nodded with some babbles as if he was agreeing with me.

I kissed his nose and buckled him in his highchair before going in search of something easy to keep him occupied until our regular breakfast time. After considering it for about five minutes, I chose fruit loops and put a small bit into a plastic bowl for Ryan. I then gave him a toddler-sized cup with just enough milk in it for him to be able to add it to his cereal himself, as he had grown insistent over the previous month ever since Chase had let him do it while he was watching him. I then grabbed a toddler spoon and placed it next to the bowl and the cup of milk on his tray. "Tanko Mama," He gurgled before picking up the cup of milk and dumping it into the bowl of cereal, laughing when it splashed a bit.

As Ryan enjoyed his cereal, I decided to start on breakfast, first the coffee, I brewed two cups one for me, and the other for Vinnie. I really was on the sweet breakfast team, so I decided to make chocolate french toast. I was adding the milk to the eggs when I heard quiet footsteps behind me, followed by warù familiar arms wrapping around my waist. " Where did you go?" came Vinnie's husky voice, while he rested his chin on my shoulder.

" To tend to your son," I retorted before placing the now-ready toasts into the pan.

" He's not my son," Vinnie mumbled jokingly, causing me to giggle; " No son of mine would wake up this early consistently," he added placing a kiss on my shoulder.

" Then he's not my son either," I played along, and he hummed before tilting his head to be able to press his lips to my neck, running his lips up and down, his soft breath tickling my skin. " Our not son is still in the room," I reminded him as I felt him move his hand from my waist to my stomach, and run them over my hips.

" I'm not doing anything," He insisted pressing another kiss to my shoulder, " I just couldn't get over last night, You're somehow still succeeding to make me obsessed with you and everything you do,"

" Is that so?" I let out a quiet squeal as I turned to face him, looping my arms around his neck, He nodded in response and I leaned to press my lips to his, " you know I'm in love with you right?" I smiled.

Just as he was about to answer, the doorbell rang, and I already knew it was one of the guys next door. " Baooonn," Ryan started to bounce on his highchair, his cereal is forgotten as he looked at the door patiently as if waiting for it to open by itself.
