Stoked

Chapter 6

        

        "Mom?" Sage stood looking at her mom sitting on the other side of her office looking at some papers spread all of her desk. Her mom not looking up quickly responded 

        "Yes, What is is?" Sage looked at her mom. She could tell that once she was so fun a life a free spirit just like Quincy. Once  Justin showed Sage pictures and old articles of their mom at surfing competitions. She could have been sponsored but met Sages dad and he captured her free spirit and her heart.

        "I was wondering - um, well Quincy's parents got her a math tutuor and she said she'd tutor me sometime for free and she is free tonight so we were gonna meet at the cafe and she was gonna help me out with some things."

        "Why do you want to go?" Sages mom said finally looking up from her papers.

        "Extra Help."

        "I suppose be home by 8."

        "Mom it's ten minute's till 8 right now."

        "Would you rather not go."

        "Mom please just for once be reasonable."

        "Fine, 8:30"

        "Thank you."

        Sage text Quincy and planned on spending the night at Laura's house just to make her mom mad. Quincy came and picked her up and as requested she told Quincy all about her date with Trevor and Quincy called her Crazy several times through out Sages telling her what happened. Then they got to Laura's and Sage gave a much more Brief explanation as to what happened.

        "Was he not a gentlemen or something?" Dax asked in disbelief

        "No, he was great, he just wasn't my version of great."

        "Wow, all those years of you drooling over him and nothing." Laura joked

        "Well if I remember correctly you hated Jake the first time you met him" Sage teased back 

        "Okay you got me there, To be totally honest though I always thought it was gonna be you and Mase." Dax, Quincy and Coco all laughed a little to hard at the sound of that.

        "Yeah No way, hes sweat too and i can totally see him in a few years settled down with little ones running around his feet but hes just not the one for me."

        "All righty then whatever you say."

The girls were going to Marathon their favorite TV show of all time One Tree Hill, but ended up talked all night. Those 5 girls cold talk about any subject you put in front of them for hours upon hours.

        "So when are all of you guys leaving to check out the future home?"

        "I think we were gonna try for Monday or Tuesday. I'm stoked though I can't wait" Quincy said excitedly.

        "I can't wait to just cross the boarder from SoCal to Nor Cal. Its gonna be beautiful" Sage said

All the girls finally went to bed around 4 am or so after talking about everything relevant and most things irrelevant. Sage lay awake thinking about everything. Northern California, Trevor and her, Quincy and Seth - how could he do that to her, any guy would be lucky to have a girl like Quin- Sage wonder sometimes about all the memories she had made her with her friends all the trouble she had gotten into here. how she was gonna miss it. But as much as she didn't want to leave, she wanted to leave even more. Remember the good and bad things here and make more good and bad things in new home. In new home in the beautiful Big Sur Northern California with her beautiful best friends.
