Sage woke up Friday morning happier then ever, this after noon was her lunch date with Trevor. It feels like she's waiting so long for this, waiting another couple hours would be torture for her. Her day was mostly filled with her deciding then undeciding. She woke up at 9:46 bushed out her hair and brushed her teeth then walked down stairs for breakfast. While she was waiting for her pancakes to be ready to flip she did a quick load of laundry and came back into the kitchen and ate her food. By the time she did all her dishes she walked up stairs it was 10: 32, leaving her just over two hours to get ready. Last night her and Trevor had agreed he'd pick her up around 12:30 ish. The rest of her morning consisted of her tearing apart her closet putting on outfit after outfit. She finally decided on a White muscle tee shirt with a maroonish brown circle in the middle with a a faint picture of a beach with some palm trees in it along with some shorts and a flannel tied around her waist for her to wear when if got cold out. She was just finishing up her makeup and putting in some lose curls into her hair when the door bell rang. She grabbed her purse and ran down stairs and opened the door.

"You look great." Trevor said with a smile on his face when she opened the door

" Thanks." Sage blushed coming out the door and shutting it behind her "I do that some times."

Trevor laughed " Of course you do. You all ready to go?"

"The question is, Are you ready?" Sage smirked as she walked past Trevor grabbing his hand behind her leading him to the car. He opened the door letting her in.

"Ready as I'll ever be." Trevor said shutting the door and walking over to his side so fast it looked like a slow jog. They talked about what seemed to be everything on their way to where ever it was they were going. When they finally got there Sage couldn't help but smile. They were at The Wedge. This was where Sage caught her first wave. She loved everything about this place

"Hope you like picnic's." Trevor said walking her over to a blanket lied out with a basket on top of it.

"I love picnic's." Sage grinned the toothiest grin ever.

They sat down side by side on the blanket looking out at the ocean. Trevor reached into the basket and pulled out take away from Chronic Taco's. He got her favorite meal along with some Granny's Sweat tea - her favorite drink of all time.

"I hope your okay with Chronic, I'm not exactly the best cook." Trevor blushed, he looked really nervous.

"I love it Trevor, I couldn't be more happy." Sage smiled at him.

As they ate and talked Sage began to feel disappointed. She didn't feel anything. She really wanted there to be something but there was no sparks, no tingles, no beating hearts. She could have kissed him and not have felt a single thing. All she thought when ever he tired to make a move was friend.

"Want to go for a Swim?" he asked.

"Actually I'm not feeling to well, I'm really sorry but would you mind taking me home?" she could see the disappointment in his face and hated herself for making him feel this way but she didn't want to lead him on if she didn't like him.

"Yeah sure" they packed everything up and he took her home. When they got there he walked her up to the door.

"I had a really great time today Trevor bu-" He cut her off

"I did too when should we do something like this again?" He smiled at her and he heart dropped.

"I'm really sorry Trevor, but i just don't see this, us, going any where."

"Oh" she could see the disappointment.

"You're a really great guy Trev. You're just not the guy for me." Sage said trying anything she though would make him feel better. She hugged him a sympathy hug goodbye and walked up to her room and plopped down on to her bed. Not two minutes later she got a call from Quincy.

"So all this weekend we are staying at Laura's. Jake is going to Mark's house so we have it to ourselves and you can tell us all about you and Trevor. But I suggest you tell everything to me now, Because I as your best friend have best friend rights to be the first to find out about all your dates, boyfriends and whatever other bullshit you have that you need to tell me."

Sage burst out into laughter when she heard all this. After she finally came to and was able to speak she told her that it was a really nice effort but she didn't feel anytime. Quincy really just couldn't believe it.

"So am I picking you up tonight to go to laura's or what?"

"Yeah i just need a good excuse."

"Okay be there around 7:30 or 8."
