It was Carina's babbling that woke Draco up. Both of their children were happy morning people, despite their parents not being so. He turned to grab her from her crib before realizing Hermione was using him as a body pillow. Her head was on his chest with an arm wrapped around his torso and a leg thrown over his.

Draco hesitated, not wanting to leave Carina but also did not want to wake up Hermione. He restored to desperate measures and snapped his fingers.

"Master Draco?" Asked his mother's house-elf, Nilly.

Draco pointed at Hermione and then pressed a finger to his lips as if reminding the elf to keep quiet. This stunt would get him in more trouble than waking her up."Would you mind bringing Carina in here for me?"

The elf nodded and popped out of the room, popping back in moments later with the newborn, placing her on Draco's chest before leaving. He ran his fingers through her fine, blond curls, mimicking the soothing motion he was repeating with the other hand through his fiancée's curls. "Daddy loves you, baby girl," he muttered, knowing that Carina was too young to understand what he was saying, but he meant it anyway.

Before Draco could soak up the moment happening, which was so similar yet so different from when Scorpius was a baby, the door to the bedroom opened, revealing their oldest. He motioned for him to come in, and Scorpius climbed up in bed with them, making the family of four complete.

"Happy birthday, buddy," Draco whispered, pressing a kiss against his son's curls. Scorpius smiled and did the same to his baby sister.

"My party today?" Scorpius asked.

Draco reminded him to quiet down. "Yes, your party is today, but we don't want to wake up Mummy."

Hermione mumbled through closed eyes. "Don't worry she's already awake." She rubbed at her face and then pulled herself up to look at their son over his sister. "Happy birthday, my little love."

Draco reached out and slid his hand along Hermione's jaw. He caught her chin between his thumb and forefinger and angled her face upward before leaning down to kiss her. "Morning, beautiful," he mumbled against her lips, pulling away ever so slightly.

"Mummy?" Scorpius asked, interrupting the moment.

She sighed as she turned to face him. "Yes, baby?"

"Is Uncle Harry coming today?"

Hermione giggled as she heard Draco groan under his breath, still not used to hearing his child refer to his childhood enemy as family. "Of course. Uncle Harry, Aunt Ginny, and James will all be here."

Scorpius nodded, pleased with her answer. "Aunt Pansy?"

"Yes, Scorp, Aunt Pansy, and Uncle Blaise will be here," Draco confirmed. "They wouldn't miss your birthday."

"What about Uncle Theo?" Scorpius's eyes widened, nervous his favorite uncle wouldn't be here.

"I bet he'll be the first one, baby," Hermione reassured. "Grandmother Cissa, Grandfather, Grandma Jean, and Grandpa Richard will all be here as well. So will Miss Daphne, Mr. Neville, Miss Hannah, and Miss Luna."

"I love them!" Scorpius grinned as he bounced on the bed in excitement. Suddenly he stopped and looked at the baby on Draco's chest. "Does Carina haves to come?"

Draco laughed out loud at that one. Scorpius had warmed up to his little sister, but sharing moments was still new. "Yes, she has to come because she lives here too, buddy."

He wrinkled his nose as he curled into Draco's side and laid his head on Draco's shoulder, wanting to soak up some of the attention. "Fine. As long as she doesn't cry."

Hermione and Draco both just shook their heads as they enjoyed the time together as a family of four. "Ever think your mornings would look like this?" Hermione asked as she pressed a kiss to his cheek.

"Absolutely not," he said, soaking in the moment happening before him. Both kids curled up against his chest, the love of his life wrapped in his arms, his ring on her finger. "This was definitely all unplanned."
