Toph took your hand to lead you back to the others, you two took your sweet time walking and even stopped a few times to delay going back and being interrogated by the others. After your long mostly quiet but not awkward walk you got back to where you were staying, you both walked into the building and were slapped with the smell of food being prepared, you hadn't realized until now that you were hungry. To be fair you hadn't been paying attention to you and your needs, you were too focused on Toph and making her happy. As soon as you two got in the others asked a lot of questions. "where did you guys go, and why were you two gone so long" Katara asked you answered "a little island Toph and I ran across yesterday" you rubbed your arm. "oOoH~ what did you guys do there~" Sokka said wiggling his eyebrows. "Toph smacked him with a rock "we didn't do anything like that you sick boy, we talked and swam. That.is.all." she stuck out her tongue at him. You walked up to him and knocked him over then went to get some food. After eating and chatting the others went to bed, Toph and you went outside, it was a nice night and you wanted to spend a little time with Delta. He was missing you and a little jealous of you being led around by Toph. He was happy when he saw you and ran over, you all sat there enjoying the fresh crisp air. You could tell she was tired but what you weren't expecting is for her to lay her head on your legs. The blood immediately went to your face and you froze not wanting to move and have her think that you didn't want her there. You slowly layed back on Delta and you could hear her in her sleepy state say "I love you, I want to never lose you." your eyes went wide "I love you too, you are one of the best things to ever happen to me." and with that she fell asleep. You took in the moment not wanting it to end, but soon the time caught up with you and you fell into a deep and peaceful sleep. Dreaming of what had occurred that day and it was one of the best days you have had in a while.
