Steve's POV:
My boyfriend and I decide to go camping to make up for everything. Alone
We set up our tent in the bear free woods and spend the rest of the day talking until the sun goes down. Bucky would light the fire and I got firewood. We sit on the logs around the fire
However, Bucky seems a little distant...
"Something wrong babe?" I ask
He shakes his head
"It's nothing Steve"
I tilt his chin to have him look at me
Barnes sighs as he fails to see the point of hiding it anymore
"I don't want you to be in this relationship for my sake"
I sense he's about to pour his heart out to me
"I've always loved you Steve, but I convinced myself you would never feel the same way. Considering you had Peggy and all that. Do you know what life would've been like for me if you left? Miserable. I told myself that you wanted to be with a girl so much that I tried to take my own life..."
My heart silently breaks inside. That's why I found him lying outside my apartment
"I only realized it was too late to tell you when I fell off the train. Then after 70 years in ice, I return as the Winter Soldier. You calmed me down. For the first time in almost a century, I felt human, not a waste to society. I am nothing without you. I-"
I cut Buck off by kissing him
He pushes me
"Are you kissing me to get me to stop talking?"
"No" I shake my head
Bucky connects our lips once more
Before I knew it, we're making out shirtless in the tent. The brunette slips his tongue in my mouth and kisses down my chest. Time passes and James is asleep on me
"Love you punk" The other man says
I kiss his forehead
"Love you too jerk"
I give him another kiss on the lips before going to sleep myself
