Lughnasadh is the celebration of the beginning of harvest season. In the Northern Hemisphere, Lughnasadh is celebrated on the 1st of August. In the Southern Hemisphere, Lughnasadh is celebrated on the 1st of February.
Some things you can do to celebrate in Lughnasadh include:
- Make pie/bread
- Berry picking
- Hiking
- Feast (homemade bread, berries)
- Light candles and make offering of first serving (HOW TO MAKE OFFERING- light candles, cleanse space etc. then place offering on altar. Tell the gods or ancestors that this offering is theres. Burn or bury the offerings)
- Aventurine is a good stone to use during Lughnasadh
