Everything just seemed to be going wrong for Hajime Hinata today. For whatever reason, Lady Luck was NOT on his side.

First off, he failed a huge exam, which he has to retake. He forgot to bring his lunch, so now he's basically starving. Not only that, he had a bit of a quarrel with a kid in his class, which got him detention.

Things were not looking good for him.

y/n l/n on the other hand, was having the best day ever. In fact, it could be assumed that the universe itself was on her side! She aced the exam she had to take, she and her friends had an amazing talk at lunch, and she was just feeling swell in general.

Things were looking amazing for her!

So, how did these two paths cross so suddenly?

Well, it was rather simple.

They had a date!

The one time where they could both meet up, and they could both feel good around the other. Both of them were looking forward to this day, as this was being planned for a long while.

[Hajime's POV
3:30 pm, 15:30 military time]

I sighed as I walked home. I had to be early for my date, so that nothing else bad would happen.

Getting detention was gonna make me run late for our date, which isn't good on my part. I don't want to ruin our date, as we've both been looking forward to this. Plus, I don't wanna push my problems onto her, or make her worry.

She's been so nice to me, but I don't know if I even deserve her..

Just then, a random bus came by and splashed me with dirty water in the street.

Stupid bus! Why now? Now I have to go home and get ready again.

I sighed as I continued trudging along. When I reached my house, I walked inside, set my school stuff down at the door before locking it. Walking up the steps, i checked the time.

"3:45.." I muttered to myself.

I set a mental timer to make sure I got out the shower before 4 so I wouldn't be late.

I skipped to the place where Hajime and I agreed to have our second date. I was very excited.

So far, my day has been amazing! I wonder if Hajime's having the same luck. I hope he is.

He's a really nice and cool guy once you get to know him. I enjoy his company, and I know he feels the same way towards me. Though, I somewhat get the feeling that he thinks he doesn't deserve me. Though, he hasn't said anything about it.
