"Huh?" I ask dumbfounded, though I clearly heard what he said.
"I said," he says, slowly pushing me aside to let other customers in. "You could take me out instead," he repeats slowly with an amused glint in his eyes.
I stand and stare, my hands stopped mid-motion. My attention slowly diverts to his palm on my waist, my insides dance at this before he casually brings his hand back to himself. Why was my brain not working?
"Uh sure," I finally say, "Sounds good," I add shifting my glance elsewhere.
"Cool. Were you leaving just now?" he inquires.
"Um yeah, I have um, work, to do," I say emphasizing the word 'work'.
"Mmkay," he says slowly taking a step back dropping his glance at the floor.
Were we supposed to exchange numbers now? Or should I give him my snap? I stand there awkwardly, looking at him, my eyes doing all the apparent talking since my mouth suddenly decided to bail on me.
"What, aren't you gonna leave?" he chuckles, his eyes gleaming.
"Um, shouldn't we like uh-" I pause searching for the right words.
"Oh I'll find you," he says reading my mind. "We'll find each other," he says with that amused glint in his eyes.
I look at him confused.
"After all, you do come by every day in Appa's Cafe," he says with a small smile.
So he was his son.
"Right," I say, a smile slowly creeping its way on my face. "I'll see you," I say before turning back and exiting the cafe, my heart on its way to my throat now.
Geez, calm down, will you?

"I finally meet her," Jimin says with the widest smile on his chiseled face.
"What on earth happened to your shirt?" Mr. Park peers through his glasses looking at Jimin distastefully.
"Just a little happy accident," Jimin replies dreamily.
"What are you so happy for?" Mr. Park asks Jimin who makes his way towards the counter, suspiciously glancing at him while checking the bills.
"Oh just nothing," Jimin lies, plopping on a stool unable to hide that boyish grin off of his charming face.

"So you're telling me, you met the owner's son who you have seen multiple times in the cafe but chose to ignore his existence until you clumsily spilled coffee all over him just for him to get you to ask him out on a date?" Keiko remarks, her voice in a monotone.
I nod my head eagerly, my eyes wide with raised eyebrows.
"And that's not something straight out of a story you're writing from or something?" she asks slightly squinting her eyes suspiciously.
I stare at her through the screen, "What, you think I'd be lying about something like this?" I ask annoyed.
"Fine fine, so what do you think about it?" she asks with a playful glint in her eyes.
"About what?" I ask.
"About him and this whole date thing dumbass," she says rolling her eyes.
"Well," I say glancing upward gathering my thoughts. "I've seen him dance and have been around him and there's something familiar about him, I can't quite place my finger on it..." I say sheepishly, feeling my cheeks heat up at the thought of him dancing in the club that day.
