Chapter 7: The Date with Charlie. Part 1

Husker POV

I have been waiting all day to meet this special girl that Alexander had his eye on, and I must say I like what I see. Alexander certainly knows how to pick them, she was cute and gorgeous and in a weird way, I was a little jealous of Alexander. 

"So, what can I get you?" I asked.

"can I have a martini please," she said happily to me.

"one martini coming up, and Alexander are you having your usual," I asked, and he nodded in response.

"By the way, the flapper girls are looking for you Alexander," I said.

"Oh, great," he said in an annoyed tone.

Charlie picks up on Alexanders mood change so she asks "why? what's wrong?" in a concerned voice.

"Oh it's nothing my darling, it's just these girls can be quite aggressive to other girls who are close to me, but they are good friends of mine, so it wouldn't hurt if we said a little hello to them," he said with concern.

"Okay," she said with a cheery voice and I couldn't help but admire how merry and cute she was, but I had to get those kinds of thoughts out of my head, this girl is Alexander girlfriend and I could not betray him like that.

"Look, my dear, I'm going to have to find the flapper girls and sort out whatever issue they have, I won't be a moment, of course, if you want me to stay, then I would gladly stay." he said with a charming grin on his face.

"it's OK, I don't mind waiting, and after all, you saved me from that drunk man, so I trust you." She said.

"Okay my dear, I won't be a moment," he said

When Alexander left, I couldn't help but questioned myself what happened with her and the drunk man? and after I asked her, she explained the whole story to me, and I decided to give the dirty martini she asked for, on the House, after all, she got attacked and her date ditched her at the bar with some random bartender!!! COME ON Alexander, did I not teach you better than that?

After when I gave out the free martini, the lights dimmed and the stage lights lit up and there were 2 flapper girls Rosie and Maisie about to give a performance, but where was the 3rd flapper girl called highlights gone to? but then...

The 2 girls on the stage started to sing and dance (like in the video!!)...

And after the performance the crowd went wild, clapping and cheering, even Charlie was amazed by that performance. She fought that their performance was so funny and entertaining to watch, and it wasn't just her who was thinking that, it was everyone in the bar who was thinking the same thing about their performance.

Charlie POV

After Rosie and Maisie did their spectacular show, they came waltzing up to the bar and asked Husker "have you seen Alexander? I still can't find him anywhere!" asked Maisie.

however, I couldn't help overhearing and answer her question "I have! he went looking for you two."

"and who might you be?" asked Rosie aggressively.

"I'm Charlie, Alexander brought me here for our date," I said.

"I guess the date didn't go very well, considering he's looking for other women," she said sarcastically.

"And who might you be," I asked, trying to stay in a positive attitude.

"I'm one of Alexander favourite flapper girls, I am called Rosie, do you know which direction he went?"
