Harley was stood on the catwalk in Ace chemicals as she looked down at the vats of acid below. She waits for a few moments as nothing happens before deciding to move lower down in the room to the vat she had thrown joker in. As she approaches it the vat begins to bubble violently and a hand shoot out as it's skin bleaches white like Harley's own. Harley grabs the arm pulling it towards her as she helps them out. Manic laughter begins to fill the room and Joker rises now fully back to normal. His laughter however is stopped by Harley slapping him back and forth. Joker looks at her angry when she finally stops. "Where's the fucking book!?" Harley screams at him.
Dr Psycho and the Riddler had taken over the Mall as they laid out a map covered in parademon figures. Psycho begins to laugh as he uses his powers now. "Begin the taking of Gotham City!" He commands his Parademon army to take over Gotham slaughtering their way through the cities remaining inhabitants.
"Riddle me this..." Riddler says but he can't come up with anything. "Oh. What's the next move?" He asks.
"Not a riddle." Psycho says.
"This whole, uh, sidekick thing has made me real rusty with my rids." Riddler admits now.
"God! Get me Darkseid." Psycho says as Riddler admires his own biceps.
"Oh. You want me to get him. Oh. Sorry. My phone doesn't have an inter-dimensional data plan." Riddler says back to Psycho now.
"Good lord! Some assistant you are. Give me my phone." Psycho says as Riddler hands Psycho his phone and the small man begins to look through his contacts. "Okay, Ds. Deadshot, Deathstroke, Dee Dee, Doctor Aesop, Doctor Death, Doctor Hurt, Doctor Trapp, Doctor Rabinowitz..."
"What is Doctor Rabinowitz's super power?" Riddler asks currious.
"Skin care. He's my dermatologist. I get adult acne." Psycho says before he finds who he is looking for. "Here it is. Oh!" He chuckles. "I put him under The Darkseid. That's what's wrong." Psycho explains as he clicks on the phone and it begins to ring.
Back at Ace Chemicals Joker was still angry. "What the fuck is your problem, Harley? I should kill you for that."
"Good. You're back. Now, where's the Queen of Fables' book? You had it in the tower, the tower collapsed. What happened to it?" Harley asks him.
"What happened to it? What happened to me?" Joker ask before his eyes begin to widen a little. "Oh, God! Oh, no. Oh, shit."
"What are you doing?" Harley asks him nervously.
"I'm starting to remember." Joker says as the last 6 months of his life begins to flash through his mind.
After the collapse of his tower, he was pulled out of the rubble by an older hispanic nurse who nursed him back to health and fell in love with him. She even introduced him to her two children who, although initially distrusting of the Joker, were warmed to him when he introduced himself by giving them a puppy. They began to see him as a father figure, and he seamlessly integrated into their family.
