"Okay, Ro, there's some things that I need to tell you about Bucky," Natasha grins at me as her, Wanda, and I are sitting on the beanbags in my room.
"Really?" I roll my eyes. "Between you, Steve, and Sam thinking that you can just tell me about Bucky, I don't know. I think I can become friends with him on my own."
"This isn't about something like that," Natasha waves me off.
"You two are already friends," Wanda says with a small smile. "At least, you really want to be friends so that you can be something more."
"Wanda!" I squeal, throwing a nearby panda plushie at her that she easily stops with her powers. "I can't believe you would read my mind. Those are my private thoughts!"
"Sorry," she giggles. "I didn't mean to, but when you start blushing, I have to make sure that you aren't in trouble."
"I was with Steve and Sam though?" I sigh. "Doesn't matter. I know the stories from Steve, and if Bucky is slowly becoming his old self, I'm sure him flirting with me is just that and nothing more."
"I can read his mind too," Wanda looks around the room as if she is searching for his brain wave.
"No, don't do that," I shake my head. "That's not going to help us become better friends."
"Enough of that," Natasha speaks up. "There's something I need you to know about the guy you have developed a crush on," she smirks.
"Oh my gosh!" I groan, sliding down and hiding my face with my hands. "Why must you do this to me?" I feel my cheeks heating up way too much.
"Because we love you," Wanda chuckles.
"What do you have to tell me, Nat?" I push myself back up in the beanbag.
"Bucky and I have history, like, more than friendly," Natasha replies. "We were both in bad places, and it was like a way to cope with what was happening to us. It didn't last long, as after a few times of electro-shock and going into the ice, I didn't want to be a part of that. I got out, and I was able to come find my family over here. I never thought that we would meet again, and he doesn't seem to truly remember what went on between the two of us, which I am kind of thankful for. I saw you gushing over his arm, and I know when you have a crush, so I needed to tell you."
"Well, thank you, I guess?" I nibble on my bottom lip.
"Now, there will be no awkward conversations if he does get his memory back, and I can help you try and get with the man," she smirks.
"Come on!" I slap the sides of my beanbag. "Why can't I just appreciate him from afar?"
"Because when you set your mind to something, you go all in," Wanda says with a straight face.
"Wanda," I glare at the girl.
"That you said out loud, so you can't get mad at me for that," she shrugs.
"There's nothing wrong with having a crush on someone," Natasha says. "There's also nothing against Avengers dating each other. Bruce and I, Abbigail and Peter, some say Pepper and Tony, and soon to be you and Bucky."
"Now I wish that I was still alone," I sigh, running a hand through my hair. "I'm sure he was just being nice earlier. Using the old term of doll and all that. He's just a gentleman."
