Jerry Gets in Trouble

"What's the matter? You doin' all right?" The customer was confused, but Jerry didn't answer. He was too busy laughing.

She eventually gave up on getting checked out at register 6, packed her cart back up, and walked to the next aisle over.

Jerry finished laughing and looked up so he could finish ringing up the woman's groceries, but instead of seeing the woman, he saw his boss.

"Jerry, what the heck are you doing??? You're supposed to be a kind cashier, not a rude one who laughs at his customers!!!"

"Sorry... she said y'all, so it's kind of her fault..."

"The customer is ALWAYS right!"

"Oh... oops... sorry..."

"No more apologies! If you screw up like this again you will be fired!!!"

"Wait... what?" He was hoping for an answer, but his boss had already left.

Jerry ignored his boss's comment and continued to work. A few minutes later there were 3 men in line to check out, each with 6 items in their cart.

"666?" Jerry thought to himself, "That's the devil's number!"
